I have started taking piano lessons at A Dawn Of Music Studios. Signing up was a very easy process. All options were clearly explained to me and Kristi was in constant communication with me during the registration process, even with my many questions about payment and she was also very accommodating concerning my postponements! I would definitely recommend Kristi Dawn's business for music lessons.
We found Sid on Thumbtack and he has been giving guitar lessons to myself and my two kids for last 18 months. He is super great with the kids and an awesome teacher. Would highly recommend.
Nader has taught cello to my 10 year-old son, Caleb for the last 2 years. During in this time, Caleb has made amazing progress. Nader challenges Caleb in a way that builds excitement for music and confidence to excel at his instrument. I can imagine that music lessons and practice can become a chore, but Nader's patience, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and method of teaching keeps Caleb engaged and excited to play the cello. Caleb has truly benefited from the way that Nader engages him each and every time they meet. Nader is a very good listener so that Caleb always feels heard. His questions and concerns are addressed. I give Nader my highest recommendation not only because Caleb has made such good progress, but also because Nader has made the cello very rewarding and enjoyable for Caleb.
Bryson is very patient and great at explaining every step of the learning process. He's very knowledgeable in music theory and his teaching style is very flexible. What I mostly like about my lessons so far is that I'm very comfortable, especially since I was a brand new student and was shy at first. I feel like I'm advancing a lot!
Punctual & responsive. Piano sounds much better.
When you meet Esther for the first time, you can chat with her for 5 minutes, and feel like you've known her forever. Actually, I've known her since 2008, and I can honestly say she is a true professional in every sense of the word. When I first started my music education company, she interviewed with us to apply as a piano instructor. Boy, was she impressive! She knows her music theory, is experienced with students of all ages, and can teach like it's second nature (if you attend one of her recitals, you'll understand). Esther is an exceptional performer as well, and plays the piano with such feeling. Although, she ultimately decided to focus on her own business, separate from mine, we have made it a prority to keep in touch. Her and I seek advice from one another, and together we are a support group. Not only is she a great business colleague, she is an excellent mentor, and a wonderful friend. Indeed, I'm happy to have met her, and I'm certain we will always be friends. Esther, thank you for being my friend.
I am a retired high school teacher and have decided to take up the piano. I had my first lesson with Sharon. She is an excellent teacher! She is very patient and very enthusiastic! Both of which I am very grateful for, as I am a slow learner! Needless to say, she is extremely knowledgable about music, piano and theory. I would very highly recommend her for all levels of piano study for either the adult or child learner! I look forward to many more lessons with her!
Before taking piano lessons with Rebecca, my only experience with musical instruction was through elementary and junior high. Rebecca's training and personal dedication to music makes her an extraordinary teacher. We use the Suzuki books, which I love because that's what I used for violin and flute. She supplements those favorites with really nice adult-learning-centered books on theory. As an adult learner, this was helpful, because I could read through these brief books, but then had the terminology to look up my questions online or know what to ask in lessons. The lessons are so fun and well organized. We work on the songs in the books (which included CDs of the songs so you can hear what the song might sound like if you practice enough) and she would help me with songs I brought in too. Rebecca is so kind, and is great with my five-year-old too. Really, Rebecca is an excellent music instructor. Her academic background, many years of actually playing piano and singing, knowledge of the music available and books, and variety of students -- all make her a versatile teacher, capable of helping anyone learn to the play the piano in whatever style they are interested in. Plus, she is an incredible person. I look forward to piano lessons with her.
Chris responded immediately to my post for a piano teacher, was very professional, friendly and I really like his stylistic approach to teaching. We have had about four lessons with him and he is punctual, professional, courteous and most importantly, my daughter is really enjoying her lessons. I highly recommend this teacher.
My kids took piano lessons all the time in the past and barely progressed. With Ryan. They are advancing faster and he keeps them motivated! We all love his classes
Linda has been my son's private cello teacher for many years. With her help he jumped straight into the advanced chamber orchestra at high school as a freshman. We recently added music theory to his regular weekly lessons and as a result his grade for his AP music theory class at the high school is a 99.5%. Here's hoping for a 5 on his AP test!
Mr. Nathan's classical training in both piano and drums serve him well as an instructor when coupled with his down to earth and easy going personality. Whether you're looking to pickup a new instrument, hone your existing skills, or gain a better understanding of music theory, Josh's depth of knowledge in the subject is a valuable resource. 10/10 would recommend for clients of any skill level.
Mark is an excellent piano teacher! He also importantly has an extensive knowledge of music theory and history. He incorporates these important aspects of music appreciation into lessons that he tailors for individual students. His lessons are very well organized and goal-oriented. I definitely recommend him!
Received my very first piano lesson answer she was awesome! Definitely will continue learning from her.
I've been taking some flute and piano lessons from Beata. She helped me a lot with my timing on flute and a lot with my fingering choices and positions on piano
I just started working with Michael and I already feel more confident and have more fun playing the guitar than I had in almost a year. His immense love and knowledge of music is astounding and he translates that into lessons that make me excited to learn more. He is very approachable, highly responsive and extremely flexible. I cannot recommend Michael enough to begin or continue your musical education!
Nicole is a great teacher! I have little background in music, especially piano, and I was unable to read music. However, Nicole has been able to teach me through patient progression and my form playing has improved greatly since our first lesson! My favorite thing about lessons with Nicole is that although she works to give you a solid foundation in the fundamentals, she asks what songs you would like to learn and works with you to learn them as well.
Been awesome working with Jason! I've always had an interest in becoming a better musician, but the routine of picking up books that are too complex to fully grasp was always daunting. He's helped tremendously with simple breakdowns and in-depth analysis of music theory and composition, as well as technique and application. I really look forward, not only to the future sessions, but the homework I'm assigned to perfect my craft.🤘
In the 5 years that Terri has been my music instructor, she has shown great dedication and creativity, and has introduced me to various activities to enhance my music ability. She provides challenging yet fun lessons, and her teaching environment is excellent. It's obvious that she loves to teach music!
I have recently started to take violin lessons with Ms. Zabenova. She is knowledgeable, patient and observant. Ms. Zabenova is able to see my strengths and weaknesses. Her teaching style is clear and flexible. I am looking forward to working with her and making progress.
Our 5 year-old has improved a great deal while taking lessons with Amy. She has made it fun and has personalized her lessons to his interest and developmental stage. He now has a better posture while playing and has started to read music.
