We have recommended Colors in Motion to our friends and family (including my parents)- always with rave reviews. Glen has done many projects at our home over the last 12 years - his work is consistently excellent, very reasonable in cost, and he and Laurie are a pleasure to work with. Most recently, he was our contractor for a complete rennovation of a rental property - which had extensive water damage and 20 years of wear and tear. Glen transformed the property - from accoustic ceiling removal, tearing out walls and fixing water damage, to installing beautiful baseboards, and did an incredible job of painting from floor to ceiling - as well as a myriad of other repairs and upgrades. He also gave us great tips and suggestions - which resulted in us selling the home within a week of the project completion - before we could even put it on the market - it looked that great! He has done other complete renovations with great success also. We could not be happier with the quality of work, his professionalism and personal attention to details - and he is so reasonable in cost. Glen and his crew could not have been more accomodating. We had them do our job before we moved in, and not being on site we were concerned about getting it done correcty. Not only was the job (interior painting, wallpaper stripping, exterior trim) done perfectly, they finished in record time. You can absolutely not go wrong for quality, price and satisfaction.

What types of customers have you worked with?
What we have found to be a common problem with homes around the coastline is dry-rot or termite damaged wood which goes unnoticed. We replace bad fascia boards and woodwork, and we are less expensive than what a termite company would charge. We only purchase treated wood and prime all wood surfaces prior to painting.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone you know you can trust. Call references and maybe go by and see some recent exterior work - We love new customers because they always remain our customers. Painting a family's home is a personal thing and we want people to know they can trust us in or outside of their home-not to mention the home is going to look and feel new and fresh again! We want to put the color back in everyone's day!
