Introduction: The uncertainty created by Covid-19 has made the lives of wedding couples more difficult. It seems that maybe the worst of it is behind us and many couples are now ready to move forward and book their big celebration to include family & friends. In addition to an officiant, you'll need to obtain your marriage license from a County Clerk's office. While each California county office may be handling the business of issuing marriage licenses a tad differently, the great thing is that all California counties honor each other's marriage certificates, regardless of which California county you live in. We reached out to Saundra last minute to officiate our wedding, and she was the best at helping out from everything between deciding on location in SF, write the most lovely speech incorporating our personal stories and making the day feel special and personal. It was such a delight working with Saundra. She has so much experience and was able to provide much-needed advice. She also was such a reassuring presence to have around for wedding preparation. With her help, we were able to make a ceremony that matched the mood of our love story and commitment to each other which was sweet and sincere and a little funny. Planning a Zoom wedding during a pandemic was challenging, but we were determined. After interviewing five different officiants on video calls, we clicked with Saundra immediately. This was not a sales pitch, quite the opposite. She was warm, welcoming, and asked us about our story and about our background, which immediately put us at ease. Once we chose to work with Saundra, she continued to come through for us. Always proactive and on time, always listening. We went through a few different drafts of our ceremony, working together to make it personal and memorable. Saundra was always open to our ideas, and she very tactfully made suggestions that were in our best interest. She was also very knowledgeable about getting our license, which was no easy feat while our county's courthouse was shut down. Saundra absolutely inspired confidence, trust, and care. On the day of our ceremony, Sandra calmly directed everything, which was fortunate, as we were having nerve wracking technology issues with our Zoom call! She expertly gave us cues under her breath, like to face the camera, etc. It's funny, when I think back, I was excited and not paying attention to those details. Thank goodness Saundra is such a pro. You can see from the pictures below, she made us look good, and we had a great time, too! It is possible to create a special, memorable, and moving ceremony with an online wedding, and it's all about who you choose to work with. We are thrilled to have found Saundra for our special day, and our time together will be revisited again and again in our pictures, our videos, and our stories.

Rev Saundra was the first person we met and we instantly knew she would be perfect. She has a lot of experience officiating weddings and kept us on track to make sure our ceremony was stress-free. Reverend Saundra was a delight to work with! She is very professional, warm and accommodating. My fiancé and I both agreed from the moment we met her that she would be our officiant. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I factor in commute time to your wedding venue and whether or not you need me for rehearsal. To provide you a quote means I need to know: your wedding date (to check for availability), time of your ceremony (even if just an estimate), city where you're wedding will be held so I can factor in commute time to and from. As a military brat (USAF), I offer a military discount as a "thank you" to active duty personnel.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with a complimentary consultation--via Google meets or Zoom (due to CoVid) prior consults included in-person option too.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Served as an Alameda County Deputy Marriage Commissioner, I’m also a Certified Wedding Planner, Graduate Cal State East Bay Wedding Certification Program, 2015.
