They were flexible to my needs and strived to provide me with the best service. They actually taught me how to do the work instead of other tutors who basically do the work for you. Would highly reccomend brought my grade from an F to a B in four weeks
My daughter has very much enjoyed learning from Arliss. She is kind and supportive and my daughter has learned a lot about taking the SAT and is now studying with Arliss to take the ACT. We are awaiting her SAT score to see how much she improved.
Joanna was punctual, professional and very friendly. we appreciated her taking the time to do an assessment of our daughter's skills & also staying to tutor for an additional hour. she seems flexible and we look forward to discovering more of her skills and experience as a tutor.
Deryk tutored my high school senior daughter in preparation for the SAT exam. She raised her score by 600 points which really helped out with scholarships and grants for college! Thank you so much! B. Nichols
I don't consider what I do as especially better than others who render the same service(s). I've been tutoring for over 30 years. I love being able to help clients reach a level of understanding of the subject matter. I love working one-on-one and love helping the best I can. I love working with students/adults!
Our approach to tutoring is based on fitting the learning style of the client. By taking this approach, we have found great success in seeing clients master challenging academic concepts.
I help kids who have trouble with mathematics. It could be from math up to Algebra II. I use tutorials to help the child understand what they are having trouble with.
I assist students from Elementary to Middle school. I work hard to better your child's education and future.
For the past four years I have tutored math, reading, and English language arts for Desert Sands and Coachella Valley Unified School Districts. I have a portfolio of 25 students with pre-and post-test results where I can show their greatly improved achievement results. This past year I also worked as a substitute teacher in Desert Sands School District. My degree is a bachelors of science in education. I also teach my students how to develop good study habits, organizational, and time management skills. The DOJ and FBI have conducted background checks on me and I have a clear TB test to work with students in the school districts.

In todays ever-changing educational landscape, it is vital that a teacher possess a multitude of pedagogical skills as well as the ability to engage learners with a great diversity of cultural backgrounds. My experience and background can provide that. I have been teaching English and writing for eleven years and I have a MA in English/Composition. I have the ability to build an excellent rapport with people; thus, building the trust I need to help them succeed. I thrive when I teach one on one. I engage students with a fair, firm, and friendly attitude that demonstrates respect for students and their educational goals and always strive to make the learning applicable to students lives.

I am a student studying toward my master's degree in creative writing. I have my bachelor's in English with a minor in writing studies. I have previous experience working with children in a tutoring setting.
I tutor students in English comprehension, reading, writing, spelling, essays, book reports etc. Elementary school level is my specialty. Although I have tutored older students as well. I love working with children and give my all to their learning capabilities. I have had much success with my students in all areas of English. I tutor with a unique style that captures the imagination all the while the student is unaware that he or she is actually learning. My pricing is very affordable and in some cases will work with you if there is a need too. My students have been in the private school sector, charter school and tutoring programs.
People think that learning is best done straight from a textbook. I don't think that. Although private tutoring is meant to teach from a textbook, I think that there should be more. My curriculum consists of two separate categories, from which subcategories are made. We go through literature, grammar, writing, not through a textbook (although used as a reference) but rather through handpicked books from a list we create on the first day of service. From there, a customized plan is made to best fit the student and give them the best possible ways to learn.
