Introduction: From San Diego State University, Lisa Mozzini-McDill graduated with honors, a BA in Graphic Communications, and a distinction in art. For more than ten years, She worked as an illustrator, graphic artist, and portrait artist in San Diego. Today, she balances family with commissioned portraits in colored pencil and oil, plein air landscapes in oil and instruction.
In addition to teaching en plein air and in her studio, she has demonstrated for various art groups. Lisa has carried on her education with workshops by John Budicin, Elizabeth Tolley, Micheal Obermeyer, Joseph Todorovitch and Ken Auster. She was featured in the artist's spotlight of The Press-Enterprise (July 14, 2008), and has been published in Orange County's best magazine.
