Mandolin Lessons (for adults)
Very personable guy. At your first lesson, discuss your objectives. No teacher is ideal for every student, and Scott's patient encouragement will be magic for some and frustrating for others.Mar 21, 2018Verified

With the challenge of teaching three people at once, including two 10 year olds, Scott shows patience and works at your pace to help you reach your goals. He is a great teacher that promotes learning in all facets.Aug 12, 2014Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try and stay within 10 miles of home here in Chula Vista. First lesson is free. Because after the first meeting you may not be comfortable with me. This way you haven't invested anything more than time. Remember I want you to enjoy music.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First lesson usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes. There is a lot to cover. Don't worry, we will review it several times. I ask if they have been taking lesson or is this their first time taking music lessons. I also let them know we will go at their own pace. I also want them to have fun with their instrument.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Graduated from Boise State University 1980. B.A. Music Education. Teaching 10 year's private lessons in beginning music.
