Rev Saundra Anderson was incredibly organized, professional and warm. She provided just enough guidance through our vows to ensure our feelings were conveyed yet not changing our personal style. From the time we met in Starbucks several weeks before the wedding, until the day of the wedding she stayed engaged and responsive by email and text. We feel very lucky to have found her here. If you're lucky enough to get on her calendar you should book her quickly, you will not be disappointed! The package she provides is outstanding and you can put in your box of wedding memories. From the outline of the ceremony to the gorgeous paper the vows are typed on, her package as an officiant is well thought out and put together. If your a bride that needs all the details, like me, your in good hand with Rev. Saundra! And she looks beautiful at the ceremony too!!
We used Cazadores for our Startup Weekend. We reserved three meals: a lunch, and two dinners. The Indian buffet was delicious! It catered our vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore needs! Everyone raved about the Indian food! We also received a Mexican taco dinner. Similarly, Evan and his team grilled the meat and had hot tacos with all the fixings! There was even churros filled with caramel and vanilla custard! Bomb!!! Everyone also enjoyed the Chinese food. It was hard to resist!
Before I give my glowing review of Tiffany, I have to preface the review with a few words so you know that I was in your shoes. Wedding planning sucks and having to stick to a limited budget doesn't it make it easier. As a bride, sometimes you have to cut corners in order to afford simple things (or let's be honest more desired things) for your wedding. Hiring a full service wedding planner, was one of those things that I really wanted, but I knew it would take a huge chunk out of my wedding budget. My wedding was in San Francisco, so its not the cheapest city to have your wedding. But after receiving price quotes from full service wedding planners, their prices depressed me (adding unnecessary stress to my wedding budget woes) and when I looked at their packages, I just didn't feel like it was right for me or my budget. I had to take a step back, breathe, and take ownership of wedding planning and face reality. I knew what Id need to do, to stay on budget. I had big decisions to make as a bride, but I knew I could save a ton, if I planned my own wedding. So I thought hey I plan many events for my friends, family, and clients all the time, weve got about 85-100 guests to invite, why not plan my own wedding, and hire a day of coordinator to save money?" I did just that and when I was in the process of looking for a day of coordinator, my next thought was, "shoot if I hire a day of coordinator, will I overlook something and regret not hiring a full service wedding planner?". With caution, I started to ask for quotes for day of coordinators and realized right away what I needed to do. I put a request up on Thumbtack and the email quotes came rolling in. I was astonished. But I was in a conundrum - every price was competitive, so how does one choose a vendor over the other. All of them had amazing reviews (which put my initial concerns more at ease). I spent a few days emailing back different vendors, asking them questions, reading their reviews, even looking them up on Linkedin! I did some my research and eventually decided on Tiffany Won. Choosing her as the day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. 3 pieces of advice if you DIY: First off ladies, have more confidence in your planning abilities and use the resources the internet provides you (there are a ton of wedding checklists and schedules online to help you plan your own wedding, and for inspiration for décor or what not, pinterest was key for me). It might be intimating at first, and the time involved in planning your wedding might feel like an absolute time suck, but trust in yourself and plan your day. No one has a better vision of what you want for your wedding, more than you. Secondly, trust in a day of coordinator like Tiffany to execute on your vision. She's top notch and will be a valuable asset in your planning process. I hired her as my day of coordinator. I was a little anxious, but after I spoke with her on the phone and especially after I met her before my wedding for the 2 hour pre-wedding meeting, I could tell that she had plenty of experience in event planning and coordination. Not only does she have experience in wedding planning, but she has extensive experience planning corporate events and conferences, which as you know, could range from hundreds to thousands of attendees. My thought was, if this girl can plan corporate events that are large scale, she will definitely be able to coordinate my smaller scale event. She also asked the right questions before the wedding, which put my concerns at ease, since she is very sharp and it became clear to me, that event planning plays a very familiar story in her head, a story she knows word for word. Thirdly, stick to your budget. If you need to roll up them sleeves and plan your wedding, just do it. But call in some cavalry to take over on the day of your wedding day because youll need it. Make sure you go with a pro like Tiffany. Im pretty detailed oriented. So is she. I thought I had every detail planned, all she has to do is follow the schedule. You know what, she was able to catch holes in my schedule and my planning. She worked with me to double check my wedding schedule and everything the whole shebang from pre-wedding day stuff like what time the florist will set up, when will the lighting company get to the venue, advice or a second opinion on wedding décor, suggestions for additional vendors .even ceremony logistics such as where people would stand, the flow of the event, gaps in the vendors schedules and the wedding reception details like when the band would take their breaks so she can play an ipod or something so background music would play, helping with the mic transition from the emcee to other guest speakers, overseeing food service so there wasn't a huge gap between the appetizers and dinner, making sure I ate, making sure the groom and I did our table rounds to thank our guests for coming, making sure at the end of the evening someone could collect my wedding gifts, etc etc. Tiffany did a phenomenal job at overseeing every tiny detail the day of the wedding! My wedding went smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and this was all because I had help taking some wedding responsibilities off my shoulders, I'm so glad I hired Tiffany! Tiffany went over and beyond the call of duty and at a very fair price. Whether you hire her as a day of coordinator or hire her for full service wedding planning (or to plan any type of event), do yourself a favor and put her in your top consideration list. I would hire her again if I could. I will certainly be recommending her to my friends and family. And if you hire her, Im sure you will eventually do the same. Kudos Tiffany for the excellent work! From start to finish, it was truly a pleasure to work with Alisa and her top notch team at Passionate Plates. We appreciated her flexibility and cooperation during the planning stages to prepare food for 60 guests at our wedding in Sonoma on Sept. 17, 2016. I am especially grateful for finding such a high quality caterer such as Alisa's Passionate Plates via the Thumbtack website after our caterer had to back out just two months before our wedding due to medical reasons. Foremost, we had nothing but rave reviews from our wedding guests for the high quality of the food, including choices for seafood lovers, steak, chicken, vegetarians and wonderful side dishes. On the big day, her team arrived at the wedding venue to prepare everything fresh and perfectly on schedule based on the timing of the service for a lunch reception. We opted for a more simple buffet style and this worked out extremely well for us. In addition, her team did a superb job with general execution in both the high quality of the food, clearing the tables and leaving the venue's kitchen and table settings sparkling. I have rated Passionate Plates "5 stars" but would give them higher, if possible! Rest assured, you will not regret working with Alisa and her first class team at Passionate Plate.
I highly recommend AR wedding planners! We debated whether we needed a day-of coordinator, but in the end, due to a couple logistical challenges we decided to go for it. In hindsight I can’t imagine doing it any other way. Rebecca was incredible. Not only did she give me peace of mind by tackling those logistical challenges head-on, she was also extremely proactive. I knew I was in excellent hands from the very beginning. She asked all the right questions and ensured we had all the necessary information at our fingertips at exactly the right moments. She is very professional and handled any issues that came up with ease. Finally, she’s fun! She ensured we enjoyed our day completely stress and hassle-free, all while blending in seamlessly with friends and family. Thank you, Rebecca for being a part of our special day. Elizabeth is an amazing wedding planner, she kept me sane, guided me when I didn't know what to do and on the day of the wedding she was able to create beautiful tableaus with the wedding decor I provided her. She is responsive, flexible and has the calmest personality. On my wedding day I didn't have to think about a single thing, Elizabeth handled every single thing from start to finish and everything went flawlessly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elizabeth as a wedding planner or as a day of coordinator. She was perfect!
Nick and the staff at famous creations is amazing and the prices are unbelievable! My first experience with them was to jure to cater my best friends baby shower. They were amazing and totally professional. The experience was so wonderful I then hired him to hHandel my day of coordination for.my wedding and to make my wedding cake. Nick was extremely professional at all times and helped to make my day perfect. In would recommend him to anyone and have sent a lot of business his way.
I found Matt as a great and competitive bid on Thumbtack for my wedding personal flowers. I had made my own centerpieces and alter pieces. I sent Matt pictures of my inspiration bouquet and my own creations. I told him I was open minded as long as everything flowed nicely together. I was more than pleased! We got much larger flower arrangements than I had anticipated for the price. They looked amazingly similar to my inspiration pic and also blended well with the decor I had created. Matt was very responsive and easy going via email and didn't worry that one of my payments was a bit late. My wedding planner picked up the flowers, but she said there were no problems with this process either. Overall, flowers were not something I thought I cared too much about--however Matt not only made them fit within my budget, but also made them one of my favorite touches to our wedding. I cannot recommend Forsyth Designs enough. Wonderful to work with all around.
When we met Khadija we were half way through the wedding planning, and we knew what we wanted in our party but we still needed plenty of guidance...Khadija and James provided that and then some! We found Limelight Productions to be all we could have hoped for and more. Not only is their team very organized and knowledgeable but they helped us to think of things we never would have otherwise considered and they truly went above and beyond. We never had one e-mail, text or call not promptly responded to and at the right times they even gave us some needed pushes on planning and execution as our big day drew nearer. The week of the wedding arrived and Khadija and James (and Ayesha for the bouquet production) showed why they deserve nothing less than 5 stars on their reviews. They were fantastic and very professional, and our party was amazing because they were an amazing team handling things for and with us. Our thank you very much to them, and best recommendations. There is no way we could have had our wedding without them!
I was the kind of bride that contemplated whether I needed a wedding planner or not and I can’t say enough how relieved I am to have hired Courtney! She exceeded our expectations during the planning stages by being responsive, offering suggestions, and just being there when we needed her. She was our month of coordinator but she assisted well in advance to make sure our timeline was perfect. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without her! The wedding went as smoothly as possible and we have Courtney to thank. She worked with all vendors, made sure we stayed with the timeline as much as possible, and even helped decorate our welcome table, guestbook table, and centerpieces as a part of her duties. Robyn made my bridal shower a total surprise! I was not expecting it at all. It was based on me, as the theme was what I love best, horses. I could tell she had spent so much time researching to find decorations and party favors that would make my bridal shower so special. She also helped plan my backyard wedding. I'm not a very good party planner myself so had no idea where to start. When I hired her, she stepped right in and took the control I was looking for. I could relax and have a great time at my wedding knowing every little detail was being watched and taken care of by Robin.
Erika (Cast Your Cares Event Planning) is a true professional planner and an excellent event coordinator. Rosa and I chose Erika to coordinate our wedding and although it was the biggest wedding in town, it certainly had it's challenges and Ms. Erika handled everyone of them like a pro. We could not have been happier with Erika and her work with us and our vendors. Her greatest asset was no more evident and very much on display, the day of our wedding. Wow... Erika was spot on from start to finish, keeping all those involved with our special day, on time and together. From getting my bride's hair and makeup finished (with photos!) and into the limo to the church ON TIME, to making sure all of our guests were enjoying the reception (photos of us at each table), and then keeping us on time leaving the reception and off to our life as husband and wife. Just a well done job all around. I would like to complement Erika on her beautiful decorations for the reception (tables, cake tables, etc,) and her expert management the guest seating chart (which is not and easy chore) .... Rosa and I were so impressed with Erika's work coordinating our wedding, we do plan to chose Cast Your Cares again with upcoming professional and special events (milestone birthdays and charity functions). It was one of the most important days of our lives, and it was also arguably one of the best! Rubal was on top of every little detail - she handled both the planned and unplanned items with prompt and efficient responses. We received so many compliments for our venue, food, music and entertainment; however, the best compliments of all are those we still receive of how FLAWLESS and FUN the wedding reception was -- all undoubtedly thanks to Rubal. If you want to create the day of your dreams (or your fiance's dreams) without having to stress over every detail (especially if you're having a multi day Indian wedding), I guarantee you can trust Rubal and team!
I have been using Aminah's services for all of my event planning needs for many years because she really is amazing and a true pro! Her passion and her "do whatever it takes with a smile" attitude and her ability to make you feel completely at ease, no matter the challenge, makes a huge difference in your overall experience. I personally think those qualities is what sets her apart and makes her the best in her field. I was honored to have Aminah plan my destination wedding and she really made our dreams come true. She has a great creative eye for design & detail and she really does think of everything...like everything! That was almost two years ago and people are still talking about it! I could not have imagined a better wedding day and it was in large part due to all the hard work Marissa put in. I had a few items figured out and thought I would be able to plan the entire wedding on my own, thank goodness Marissa was recommended by a friend! I was unsure on the "theme" direction I wanted to go and Marissa was able to quickly determine my actual wants and make them come to life. She had great suggestions on vendors and handled the details with all of them. She also did all of my flower arrangements, including the bouquets and boutonnieres, which were beautiful. My rehearsal and wedding day were absolutely perfect. I didn't once think about any detail or item I may had forgotten because Marissa had everything so put together and organized that I never felt the need to worry. I would refer her to any one of my family members or closest friends at any time! If stress free wedding planning is what you are looking for, Marissa is your lady!
Christa handled everything I asked her to the day of my wedding. There were many complexities and moving parts because I had a reception and an after party. Christa handled both amazingly well. We met a few times before and spoke on the phone throughout my engagement. I was in great hands with Christa. She had many ideas and helped make my reception beautiful!
Rachel Murch is one of the best wedding and event planners. She is very professional, innovative and has great ideas. She also is good listener, stays within a budget and pays close attention to details. Rachel is able to listen to the wants and needs of a client and excels at meeting their expectations by using the venue to create the perfect atmosphere. Rachel pays attention to detail and ensures that the clients and guests will remember and treasure the event. She planned an event at Sacramento State for about 150 people. She was responsible for sending out the invitations, food, decorations, and coordinating the guest speakers. Some of the decorations included centerpieces, silverware, chair covers, and tables displaying personal items for the group holding the event. Rachel was able to stay within budget while planning and amazing event. With all of her knowledge and experience coordinating and planning events, I would highly recommend Rachel Murch for any wedding or event.
