We installed a new double wall oven that was too big, the top kitchen cabinets needed to be removed in order for the oven to fit. I needed my 2 kitchen cabinets cut (less than 1/2 inch), sanded, painted to fit. I’ve called several “handyman’s” and cabinetry services here on thumbtack, some just didn’t respond; one said the job was too small for him to come from LA, others said they would come (I gave my info to them) but no showed. One handyman service from thumbtack who has over 300 reviews with 4+star did come and gave me a ridiculous quote for the job..$500 to cut 1/2 inch sand and paint…really? So then finally I reached out to Ishmael from Moreno’s handyman and he was willing to do the job! He was very responsive! I had a family emergency and cancelled our first appointment, but called him several days later and he was still willing to do the job! No job was too small for him! His prices are very reasonable. Thank you Ishmael for a job well done! We can’t even tell the cabinets were cut!! We will definitely use your services again!

We had 6 recessed lights installed in the living room that was scheduled out approximately 7 days from contacting and getting a quote. The quote was competitive with 2 others received and elected to go with them because they gave a more personal approach than big business quotes received. The work was performed professionally, timely, and to our expectations. We are satisfied with the work and would recommend to others. We will be leveraging this team in the future for other home projects.
Not a negative but perhaps advice or feedback... we didn't discuss paint or finish before the work began. We have a small unpainted patch of drywall that requires paint for the final product. The hole was patched and was properly textured, just needs paint. Next time I would discuss paint and finish on a project like this to see if it is included and would recommend the same to others.
