FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide free estimates and the price is usually determined by the square footage and product chosen. The turf options vary quite a bit from the weight of the grass (ounces), how many blades per square inch, and where it is made all can be factors in the price of it. And the next big factor is how much of an area you are wishing to do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer reaches out and we discuss the project over the phone. If I can provide any help or the service they are looking for after a brief call then I meet them at the project location for a job walk. I usually provide a written estimate that day or the next and if the customer decides we make a great team then we schedule an install date. With my crews we are usually 1 to 1 1/2 weeks out for installs. Possibly sooner. Most projects are finished in a few days and bigger projects will be done in a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed general contractor with a B (General License), C-8 (Concrete License), and a C61/D12 (Synthetic Product/Turf) Classification on my license. I am bonded and insured year round. My father has been a general contractor for 45 plus years so I have been in the trades and around projects my entire life.
