We just bought a new condo that had 2 rooms of craptastic carpets that we wanted to replace w/ laminate but of course on a tight budget because we just threw everything at buying. Thumbtack provided Joe, who was great. This is particularly noteworthy as we had a rough closing/ moving schedule, several delays, and a need for instant turn around- all accomplished with great attitude and excellent end results. The quality and speed of workman ship was truly remarkable, as was Joe's responsiveness at every turn of the process. He answered his phone or returned calls immediately. They guys who put the floor in were masters and the joints are SEEMLESS> it makes the rest of our house look bad. Wow- we LOVE our new floors!

Joe came in to do an in-house carpet installation appraisal at no charge, when most other businesses require that you either walk in to their showroom or pay an appraisal fee before they do so. He was professional, kind, courteous, and empathetic to the fact that I had just broken my ankle and would be in a cast for six weeks. He brought over carpet samples for us to look at and was very informative on the options that we had. He answered his phone every time I called which is definitely excellent customer service, even after normal business hours. He offered the lowest price out of all of the carpet installation companies that we came across for high grade 100% nylon carpet. I recommend Wonder Carpet! Joe is an wonderful representative of the embodiment of excellent customer service. Thanks Joe!

Joe was a man of his word. But with that said, the people he contracts with to install the floor are HORRIBLE. The installers did not ask me where to have seams placed on the carpets which left the seams VISIBLE. Installers tried to advise me that visible seams are "normal" and will disappear after time. Well, they lied. Installers also did our laminate flooring and tried to fix all of their errors with caulking. The installers had to install the laminate flooring THREE times due to their poor workmanship. Joe was great though and went over and beyond to make a wrong made by the installers to right. I just wish the installers had the same work ethics as Joe. If I had to recommend Wonder Carpet, I would say no until they obtain PROFESSIONAL floor installers.

We mostly do carpet jobs as it is something we specialize in & are extremely competitive
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We just did a set of stairs that required a 3 material process & not only was it challenging & very time consuming, but the end result was way beyond our customers expectations :-)
