Paul is amazing!!!! He is so patient and supportive as an instructor. So pleased with my decision to hire Paul. He has a great relationship with my 6 year old and I am confident in his ability to teach her how to play the guitar. Paul is so awesome that I decided to take guitar lessons as well! Looking forward to making music with my daughter!!! Thank you Paul!!!Feb 7, 2017VerifiedPaul G.'s reply
Gina, Thank you for your 5 star review! Having a mother / daughter team is exciting! Paul Grether
I have been working weekly with Paul for about 2 months to learn how to play the guitar. Paul was an excellent choice in teachers and I couldn't be happier. Firstly, he comes to you, which makes things much easier, and the instruction is one on one, not in a classroom environment. Paul is both very structured and flexible. Rather than just come in and teach you a few songs, he helps you develop the fundamentals in line with your skill level. I am starting from the very beginning but have played a different string instrument in my youth so I have been able to translate some of that the the guitar. Paul has suggestions for books you can use but in my case, I had already purchased my books and we just used those, no need to purchase additional books, he can help you use any of them. Paul also gave me the option of purchasing a folder that he created to help keep you structured and moving forward, which I did purchase and have found very useful. I think Paul is suited for just about any age and skill level, as I am 32 and I know it's generally harder to teach someone older something new, as it is. I know through our conversations as well that Paul can help people who have picked up the guitar and skipped the fundamentals to re-program themselves to reach a new level of playing. As a musician (of a different instrument), I will tell you that it is of the utmost importance to learn your craft fundamentals because it will translate to your skill level and keep you from bottoming out later. I can say that I definetely don't think I would be as far along as I am right now without Paul's instruction, structure and patience! And I will say this, I AM seeing results and progress, and much more than I thought I would already! I am glad that I chose Paul to teach me and I definetely recommend him.Dec 21, 2016VerifiedPaul G.'s reply
Elizabeth, Thank you for your 5 star review! Seeing the progress that you are making, along with any student, is very rewarding. I look forward to continued growth for you in the journey of learning the guitar. Paul Grether
I have received several lessons from Paul at my location. I have not played music for many years and bringing music back into my life. He is a passionate teacher, professional, punctual, flexible, and responsible. The price of the lesson is reasonable. He cares about me being his student and spends time to find the right pick for my playing. He also met me at Sam Ash to help me purchase a new guitar and that was very helpful, now I enjoy it even more so. Overall, I reccomend Paul as a guitar teacher.Apr 17, 2018VerifiedPaul G.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Price rates vary by location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? An intake appointment is arranged to see how to best meet the needs of the individual. It is there where a plan is discussed with the individual to make certain they are receiving what they need. Then instruction is carried out on a regular scheduled basis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been playing the piano for well over 50 years and the guitar for nearly 40 years!
