About this pro
Rick with drain aid plumbing has been an excellent person to work with. Even in the nightmare world of dealing with home warranties. Rick has always been a stand up guy. Who worked hard and done a great job. He has saved my ass many times. He has been called out for 3 different repairs on my property. And will be called out once again this weekend.May 27, 2016

Thank You, It Was A Pleasure!
I really like that someone gets a hold of you the same day or within 24 hours of summiting service. All the staff members are so friendly.Feb 12, 2014Rick O.'s reply
Now, this guy was a real peach. First I asked Robert, the owner of Drain Aid Plumbing, Crestline to remove only a water softener; the charge was $200 (wow). I authorized the work and Rick proceeded to perform. Then, while we were in bible study (at our home), he showed up and said the work was completed. When I went down to inspect the work, I found that he had not only removed my softener, but he also removed my whole house filtration system. When I reiterated my original request (of only having the softener removed), he stated that he must have misunderstood me. He then told me that it wasn't really his fault and that it would cost an additional $200 to re-plumb the whole house filter. It is obvious that I'm either dealing with complete incompetence or a criminal, or both! I told him to reinstall the filter or he wasn't getting paid so he decided to argue with me that it wasnt his fault. Im not sure whose fault it was, but it certainly wasnt mine; Im not licensed plumber, though I know much more than this guy. I then told him to remove himself from my property and he can sue me to get his $200 (the original CRIMINAL cost to remove the softener). Upon inspection of the room he was working in, the following was noted: 1) All of my copper tubing and valves were stolen by this plumber (will file a police report) 2) Two leaks from cross-threaded connections he created on the main line. I would advise against using this unprofessional criminal. Rick at Drain Aid Plumbing will only cause you grief and by the looks of him, most like steal from you.Oct 21, 2014Rick O.'s reply
Drain Aid Plumbing is a professional & licensed company that has been in business for over 14 years, a company that YOU have used before & were OBVIOUSLY satisfied with otherwise you wouldn't have called us to come back. Rick did exactly what you asked him to do, touching & pointing at the ball valve you indicated take it off & use on sprinkler system since you did not want to pay for additional parts. When you later found out he would have to charge more for additional work & parts you claimed to not have made that request & demanded he do it all for no additional cost! NICE TRY!!! When he refused, you began yelling & swearing in front of your bible study group all the way to the front yard. Rick picked up & left since he was not about to get into a yelling & cussing competition with you. He gave you time to cool down & perhaps recall your requests & called you later on that day to try & negotiate job completion; however, you had your mind set on what you had already decided to pay. Anybody that knows Rick & Drain Aid Plumbing knows that he is not a thief, much less a criminal. He does not go around stealing anything from anybody, NEVER HAS!!! The SCRAPS of copper he took is part of clean up after job completion & were replaced with new (you might want to check). The valves you claim he took was only ONE used valve & also picked up as TRASH. As far as your threat to file a police report, please go ahead & do what you have to, to try & cover up your failed scheme, meanwhile we will pursue to file small claims court for his time there & material. I would advice against servicing Ken Le to avoid dealing with a liar & not getting paid.
