- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When the student comes in, we sit down and discuss their individual goals and discuss their prior music history, their influences and preferred genre. Then I design a study course that will suit their individual needs. Each student is a unique person with unique goals. This is how I teach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and majored in Music Production and was a vocal principal. I have worked with many major people in the music industry such as Frank Zappa so I have a lot of true life experiences. I finished my Music Performance degree at New York University. I have studied with Barry Harris, Marion Cowings, Anne Bartos, Jimmy Sigler and Merry Clayton. I continue to keep up with new research about vocal issues.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Vocal instruction, piano and guitar instruction, songwriting tutoring, pre-production consulting for indie recording projects, group vocal lesson, group songwriting instruction children with special needs, i.e. Down Syndrome and Autism as well as emotional issues
