The Red Letter Players of JMV Entertainment recently performed at my daughter’s wedding. The wedding had been delayed from the previous year due to COVID. During that time Maylynda, the owner, stayed in touch and reassured me. When I finally met her at a site visit, she was warm, professional and assured me that the music will make the event fun and spectacular. She did not exaggerate.
Two weeks before the event, I was informed that the female vocalist I had chosen was pregnant and considering COVID, was not comfortable attending a large event. Maylynda offered me 2 choices (including herself) and then offered me an additional vocalist at no charge. I listened to some links and chose Maylynda. The band and vocalists were awesome performing with beautiful, strong voices, energy and style. I highly recommend Maylynda and the other two vocalists: Malcolm and Aaron. Aaron was the surprise as he was added at the last minute. Gorgeous voice!
JMV also provided a huge songlist from which to make selections and they were open to learn songs not on the list. Many of the songs we chose were performed at least as good as the original recordings.
JMV Entertainment was easy to work with and provided an exceptional musical experience. There was dancing all evening and so many people commented on how great the band was. In addition to the quality of their performances, band members and vocalist looked sharp and professional. I also appreciated the value. At this level, they were not the cheapest band I considered but neither did they approach many that were significantly more expensive.
Without any hesitation, I highly recommend this group for any significant event.

The entertainment for our event was great! They played a great mix of classics and modern songs, which everyone enjoyed. I would definitely recommend them for any event!

JMV is amazing. We were without a band only two weeks before our wedding, and were considering a DJ until we found Malynda and John at JMV. They provided us with amazingly talented and friendly musicians for our wedding. In addition to the band for the reception, they also provided a guitarist for our ceremony and a piano player for the cocktail hour. Everyone was extremely professional and amazingly talented. They even learned new songs (in a very short time frame) that were important to us. We could not have asked for anything more, and would highly recommend JMV. All of our guests were dancing and complimenting the music. We've received so many texts and calls from our friends and family about how much fun the wedding was, and we know this would not have been possible without such great music. So, so impressed with JMV.

The Red Letter Players gave us a red letter night! Malynda was great and easy to work with from start to finish, and our guests had a fantastic time dancing the night away to the fun set at our community winter formal event. Thanks to the band for accommodating our special song requests—a total treat!

We booked the Red Letter Players for a recent corporate event and had a terrific experience. Leading up to the event, Malynda with JMV was incredibly helpful, friendly and well organized. The band were very talented and it was a great fit for our audience. I would highly recommend.
