FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I most recently took a 5 day workshop from one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world. It is not about what I invested, it is about what I got out of it, how I improved my skills and point of view when I capture important life events.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a bridal gown designer or 12 yrs before I was ever a photographer. One of my bridal clients became a great friend. She now has five children. For every pregnancy, I would fly to wherever she lived and take creative pregnancy portraits of her and her children. It was a no brainer that I love photography so much, I'm doing it even when I wasn't getting paid for it. My greatest reward is when people order enlargements of their family portraits or wedding photos (some canvases as large as 40"x60") for their living rooms, and treat it as works of art.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in three types of photography, the common denominator of them all is people. 1. Headshots, for business owners that recognize the value in using their own image to attract the clients they are energetically aligned with. I offer professional hair/makeup services for women. 2. Weddings, a very special occasion that requires images that capture the way you feel. As a bridal gown designer for 12 yrs, I love weaving fashion and glamour into creative couple's portraits. 3. Family portraits, childhood is fleeting, and the love you feel for your children is the cornerstone in building their confidence and creating a positive and family centered home. When they see it, they feel it, and then they believe it.
