Introduction: My fitness journey started about five years ago, when I found myself waist deep in a marsh, suffering from hypothermia, in a hail storm in Sacramento. This was a sixteen mile obstacle race I had signed up for as a tribute to my mom's victory over breast cancer. Through my own struggles I developed my craft. Slowly I learned how to train for these races. I tested myself both physically and mentally & I developed a system to help my clients go from couch to obstacle course ready. So many people want to run an obstacle race but they don't know where to begin. Don't let that stop you from taking the first step in reaching out. I can show you the way. Let's get started. Creating athletic readiness in my clients and instilling in them a sense of community. It’s not enough to just be physically strong. You also need to feel strong and have the mental edge that allows you to take on life’s challenges. I believe obstacles are put in your way to test if what you want is really worth fighting for. I believe you must embrace the struggle of life in order to figure out who you are and unlock the unlimited potential you have deep within.

Nate listens to your goals and struggles and individualizes a plan to meet your specific goals. He makes sure the type of training you get aligns with those goals. An added bonus, Nate incorporates personal development because he knows changing your mindset is part of the battle of reaching your goals.

Nate has been my personal trainer for six weeks and I have already seen great improvement in my strength, flexibility, stamina, and balance. I hadn’t been in a gym since high school and he helped me to quickly get comfortable with the gym and working out on a consistent basis. He listened to my goals and developed a truly personalized plan that laid a strong fitness foundation. He developed a workout routine that helped me build up my muscles and skills so I could move on to more advanced exercises as I progressed through the plan. He knows all the best practices and latest advancements in fitness and is continually seeking out knowledge and sharing what he learns. He provided resources that helped me perfect my form, keep motivated, and learn more about why each exercise was important. Nate’s communication, organization, and positive attitude made everything go easy. I would recommend Nate to anyone who is looking for a great personal trainer!

My wife and I trained together with Nate once a week, and were really pleased with the results! Nate is especially great if you like structure and accountability. He always records what you're able to accomplish on the wall, so you can have hard evidence of how you're improving. Beyond that, we really appreciated how Nate combined some of the cardio and core exercises from Insanity and TRX with traditional strength exercises to really give us a balanced workout. His knowledge across all those disciplines really helps Nate have workouts that you just can get other places. Lastly, we really appreciated how Nate gave us exercises to do throughout the week on the days we weren't training with him. This gave us huge value since we could make sure to build on our sessions throughout the week with a structure that we knew would work!

Nate is an amazing instructor who knows how to incorporate many different techniques and movements. Not only did he teach you these new movements, but he made sure you had the proper form. He is also able to push & test you to your limits to make sure you get the results that you are looking for. Truly an incredible instructor and knowledgeable trainer.

I've been training with Nate for 21 weeks, twice a week. Nate is really patient and knows exactly what's best for me. I can definitely feel that so far I'm building up the strength and also gained lots of muscles. There are no very complex moves, but the combination together are amazing.
