We used Cazadores for our Startup Weekend. We reserved three meals: a lunch, and two dinners. The Indian buffet was delicious! It catered our vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore needs! Everyone raved about the Indian food! We also received a Mexican taco dinner. Similarly, Evan and his team grilled the meat and had hot tacos with all the fixings! There was even churros filled with caramel and vanilla custard! Bomb!!! Everyone also enjoyed the Chinese food. It was hard to resist!
Meal was amazing; we asked for a 100% vegetarian meal and all of the courses were fantastic; he really knows how to prepare vegetarian food. Sat was engaging and professional and the service and food were outstanding. We understand why he was voted best personal chef of Thumbtack - we would definitely hire Sat again!
In September, 2015, Stephanie produced a dinner for 14 at my residence in Sonoma, CA. She proposed a creative menu based upon my general specifications and we adjusted it together to make sure the plan was right for my budget and guests. She responded promptly to all communications and arrived on time and got right to work. We all enjoyed every course including appetizers, salad, main (fish and vegetarian plates as ordered) and desert. The meal was excellent and guests gave our chef a round of applause in appreciation for the quality of the meal she prepared. I would not hesitate to ask Stephanie to produce a special meal for us again and recommend her highly.
We received excellent service from A Plus Catering. The food arrived on time, was tasty, and everything went as planned. I would recommend them for any event. Very professional, friendly and affordable.
Debbie was a pleasure to work with. Not only is she very professional but she is an amazing chef. We ordered the BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken and Polenta cakes for the vegetarians. Everyone commented on good the food was. You have to try the baked beans as well. They were soooo good! When we got there the table cloth was set, the food was in warmers, and she was great about the clean-up as well. I would definitely hire her again for the next party.
My wifes birthday party. 25-30 people. The party was to start at 6 and Deborah and Robin showed up at 5:30. I thought they wouldnt have enough time to set up. They were up and running in no time. I was amazed. We had Chicken salad sliders. Mini beef burgers with gorgonzola. My favorite was salmon cake sliders!! YUM! We also had vegetarian spring rolls and shrimp spring rolls. I wanted to spend 25-30 per person. So glad I did. Picky crowd and they all loved it. Lots of leftovers. The most amazing part was when they were done serving they cleaned up and my kitchen looked like no one was ever there. I did nothing except point to where things were in my kitchen. Was worth every penny. Thank you Deborah and Robin! You guys rocked! I am sure we will be seeing you again.
I really enjoyed working with Chet. He took the time to really go over the menu with me and made suggestions depending on what type of event I wanted to host. He was great at communicating and made sure I got everything that I needed. Our guests really enjoyed the food, I got questions about the caterer the whole night, and the presentation was great. :)
I had a great experience with hiring Kitchenina as our caterers for an event with 40 people. The communication was always prompt, polite and friendly. They did a great job on the day of the event to ensure that the food was delivered on time (despite the traffic/weather conditions) and made my job as the event organizer much easier. I would definitely work with Kitchenina again in the future, and regret that I did not take photos of the food! (Thanks for the brownies as well!)

This was our first time having a chef for a house party with ~15 guests, and I highly recommend Graceful Kitchen! Chef Grace was able to accommodate our request for vegetarian food, and presented us with several good choices. She was there ahead of time, and the food, esp. the pasta, received good feedback from everyone that attended. I will use Graceful Kitchen again for future events.
This caterer prepared lunch for 30 people on Memorial Day for us. We found them on Thumbtack and we’re glad we went with them! Everything was as expected or better! First of all, their smoked ribs were AMAZING. Everything else (chicken skewers-very tender, deviled eggs with smoked bacon, garlic and honey meatballs, grilled corn, vegan pasta salad, arugula salad) was delicious as well. Everyone should add their Bourbon Banana Pudding for dessert, because it was so good! I love Paul Martin's banana cream pie, but this pudding was even better! I would definitely go back to them again. Too bad I forgot to take some photos!! And yes, they are very professional. Just tell Matt what you are looking for and he'll come up with a menu for you. Easy!
Rose was amazing! She promptly respnded to all my emails and communicated flawlessly. She provided all the staff needed for our wedding and customized our menu for our dietary restrictions. We met with many caterers and she was the best value and most friendly. All of the staff working with her were very friendly and professional. The food was amazing. Evertthing was cooked to perfection, looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I don't think it could have gone any better and I highly reccomend her for any occassion! Thanks again Rose!!!!!
Dawn and Marty were simply amazing. Marty is the chef and is more passionate about food then any chef I've ever met. He went beyond the extra mile to prepare amazing food for our wedding. The quality of the food and the the caliber of service provided by Dawn was outstanding. We live over 300 miles away from where the wedding was held so we had to hire our caterer remotely. We were worried about that at first, but Dawn put us completely at ease. She arranged for a site visit and then a private tasting at their facility. That was AMAZING! Appetizers, main courses, desert AND wine. What a great preview. Dawn helped us coordinate our order with the rental company and gave lots of helpful tips. Marty accommodated a special request my bride wanted which was to replace the traditional wedding cake with a tiered 60 cup Creme Brûlée desert tower! Wow... incredible. I heard several guest snuck two helpings :) Dawn and Marty were not just Caterers, they became family to us as they helped make the day a huge success! We would absolutely recommend their service to others and will use them again!
I used Rainbow chefs as a personal chef and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection I will definitely be using them again.
Angela made our family a dinner. We are not gluten free or vegetarian normally, so it's an endorsement when our kids eat vegetarian. We had a cauliflower soup, a couple of different vegetarian items like stuffed mushrooms for the main meal and several dessert items. It was all delicious, but the things that were especially amazing were the fresh tomatoe tarts (gluten free-couldn't tell) and these strawberry and cream tartlets (different crust from the tomato.) We left the table fat and happy! I have also had her cream filled chocolate cupcakes on another occasion which were also spectacular.
Oh my goodness, I was so, so impressed with Cheri's cooking. I've never, and I mean never, tasted a turkey that was as tender and flavorful as hers. I'm getting hungry right now just thinking of it. She catered our holiday party, and the depth and delight of all her amazing dishes tantalized all the guests. All her dishes we're cooked and baked to perfection. She's a genius in the kitechen, with a down-home, nurturing spirit to boot. I highly recommend Cheri for any catering event you're planning in the future. Your guest will rave that it's the best catered food they've ever had.
I hired Basic Catering for a dinner party. We had salmon and chicken breasts with asparagus and a variety of salads. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Will definitely order from them again.
