Spectrum One did a great job with our Master Bath remodel. My husband and I appreciated the time they took with us through the planning stage, cost and time estimates through the completion of the job. We have a beautiful bathroom. We found all the work men that came into the house professional, hard working, polite, timely. We liked that they left the work area clean and organized every evening. We look forward to working with them again.
Colony Construction recently completed a bedroom remodel in my house. The previous owners of our home knocked down a wall between two bedrooms and Nick and his team made the large unusual room back into the two bedrooms it was and were even able to use the same carpet and it looks great!. They did a fantastic job and were very sensitive to the fact that my daughters have special needs and cleaned up their work space every night to keep my kids safe. They completed the job in a timely manner and were right on with the estimate once the work was completed. If I have any future remodeling needs, I will hire them again. Highly recommend.
From the first meeting to our last, Joel with Usher Building and Design was very professional, courteous, and respectful. Throughout the entire job, Joel kept me informed of what was happening at each step of the project. Joel's dedication to his craft shows in his professionalism and workmanship. He cut no corners and made me feel like more than just a customer with the care to detail in his work. I am more than happy with my choice to hire Usher Building and Design and will definitely be a repeat customer for future projects!
I had Howard Patterson (Patco Construction) build my custom home in Lake of the Pines. He is honest and great to work with. Highly recommend him.
Complicated job of fixing the mess someone else made of my system; plus repairing and replacing damaged parts and adjusting everything and reprogramming system. Excellent work, very conscious of my property and making sure everything was just the way I wanted. Clean and courteous workers. reasonable cost for the level of work.Highly recommended
We've been working with Garrett and S.O.T.A. Construction since February 2016 in opening our restaurant called 'Aina in San Francisco and we couldn't be happier. He came in and gave us a quote on some minor work needed and had some cool ideas. From there he ended up taking on more than we had planned after seeing his work. The work he does is fast and clean, and he always has a new idea or solution before a problem even occurs. He's kept us incredibly on budget coming up with solutions within our spend, as well he's been VERY up front about any cost and keeping any additional work cost transparent. There were no surprises in any payments, he worked hard, and had amazing communication with us. He also did a great job doing custom woodwork for us for our bathroom, tables, a brand new wine rack, outfitting a whole wooden bar, etc etc. He was also knowledgable about restaurant quotes, permits required etc which really helped us throughout the process on an important commercial job. Very responsive and all round great guy. Overall Garrett and S.O.T.A. Construction went above and beyond on what we had asked for. Highly recommended.
Todd recently completed a dry rot repair for me on the front of my house. He did a great job and there is no doubt that that part of the house is better protected from the elements than when it was first built. He was extremely thorough, dealt with problems as they arose and kept all costs within his project bid. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Todd again. Roland. 8/4/15
we have discovered serious water damage in the house, M&M construction were very patient throughout the process and working with the insurance wasn't easy. all went much faster than expected. thank you for your wonderful work!
Shower installation in commercial building: Michael Vargas arrived promptly to give an estimate on the installation of a new pre-fab corner shower in our commercial site's second bathroom. His estimate was fair, and he agreed to work with his two-man crew primarily at night and starting the following evening. He had experience in solving a challenging plumbing issue in successfully determining the best location for the drain route. Mike is easy to work with, cheerful, respectful, and honorable. He returned a day later at my request to fix a problem at no additional charge. I recommend Mike's business MVP Custom Plumbing for your plumbing needs in the Sacramento area, and he mentioned he also serves the Tahoe area!
Ron was very professional and thorough when he came to give estimate for my bathroom restoration. Very happy I found Protek and am excited to see the work when done.
So far we've been very impressed with the whole process with Thumbtack and the quick response from both company's who contacted us right away. GB Construction hasn't done the actual job yet since we're not ready to have him start the job until early October but he's been very prompt, professional & honest.
Contracted to have popcorn ceiling removed throughout entire home as well as painting, hardwood floor install, crown moulding, base boards, and new doors. Reasonable cost, very easy to work with and details not overlooked. Will definitely use them for our next project.
We knew we had a leak in our roof and with the recent rain it quickly got worse. We reached out to Belru and spoke with Maks. He committed to coming to check the roof that same day. In torrential rain and wind Maks without hesitation went up on our roof to not only inspect the roof but repair it on the spot. Then Maks came back a few days later to ensure the sealant he put on the roof was still in place and our attic remained dry. Superior service! We would definitely hire him again.
The project involved converting the lowest level of a tri-level home to a separate living quarters for my daughter. The bedroom, bathroom and utility room were left intact. The primary effort consisted of: closing off the open space between the main kitchen eating area and the large family room; providing a separate entrance to the family room; replacing an 8 foot window with a sliding door, landing, and steps from the eating nook; removing a wet bar, and adding a kitchenette in the family room. The kitchenette required installing: cabinets; appliances; electrical and plumbing; lighting fixtures; quartz counters; tile flooring. George Smith, owner of BMT Builders, was an integral partner of the design process, which included the home owners and a Kitchen Design specialist. George's expert experience in this process resulted in many practical improvements to the design and physical layout of the kitchen. He provided the detailed plans for the permit, and advocated for the home owners interests with the county personnel- which was critical in obtaining approval of the project. The care and dedication to the job which George and his assistants provided were commendable, they worked exclusively on this project until it was completed. The craftsmanship of the finished product adequately reflected George's perfectionist nature. His integrity was above reproach; his word was as good as gold in all aspects of this project. There were many unforeseen obstacles encountered during the project; George always provided the owner with a menu of options, explanation of the choices, and any cost ramifications. He included any suggestions offered by the owner in his recommended solution. His suggested approach was both pragmatic and artistic; but, always focused on getting the effort done the correct way- never cutting corners. As with any project of this complexity, some surprises arose; the most significant one involving relatively new code issues, which were not included in the initial plans. The electrical wiring for the new appliances and kitchen outlets originally were planned using the existing 200 amp panel. At the initial site inspection, the county agent informed us of additional code requirements that would necessitate installing a new main panel and running new electrical circuits from this panel to the new kitchenette. This change in approach had a modest impact on the schedule and cost of the project. In retrospect, this could have been mitigated by more detailed review during the permit process.
They are always on time and do excellent work. They are my go to contractors for remodeling projects.
