Gus did a great job tiling our entire downstairs, installing baseboards, removing and repairing a wall, and running electrical so we could hang our TV without any visible cords. We are very pleased with the outcome and will definitely be hiring him again to do other projects around our house! He was incredibly easy to work with, had great ideas, and a thoughtful problem solver. Thanks Gus!
They painted our master bed and bathroom. they removed wallpaper from the guest room and bathroom. They patched flaws and painted both rooms. We believe his price was fair and we were very fond of his employee.
Called on Monday--Wayne was here on Tuesday at the promised time. I had them remove old furniture, they were very careful and efficient. Wayne is coming back to do more work. Would recommend their services to everyone. I will keep their number for future projects.
Ricardo did a great job removing my popcorn ceiling. I also Hire him to repaint my whole house, very clean and detail.
Jose was exactly who we needed for this job. We needed to remove a kitchen range hood, install an OTR microwave and do a little tile work to finish around the range. He was prompt, polite and professional. His work was excellent and he wasn't afraid to suggest solutions for our tile issue. Not only would we absolutely hire him again, we are making a list of things that we would like him to do. Trust me, Jose is the guy you need in your contact list to do those repairs that you have been putting off. Prices were fair for the work that was performed.
work was completed in great time, and the removal of the popcorn ceiling and texturing looks great.
Jose from JP Custom Home Construction is a total pro. Courteous, punctual, and a great value. I scraped a popcorn ceiling in one of my bedrooms; Jose sanded, taped, texturized, painted, ran electric, and installed a ceiling fan/light. Amazing work. I will definitely be using this little company again!
Caleb was great. Came out to see the job the same day I called him. We were in a bit of a time crunch for this project and he was able to accommodate our schedule. We hired him on the spot to remove a bunch of tile and thinset. Job was finished in a timely manner and I was able to start laying the new flooring next day thanks to his attention to detail during floor prep. Highly recommend his services!! Thanks Caleb -The Wrights
Mr. Vela, completed our concrete removal in a timely and efficient manner. He was extremely courteous and vigilant with his workmanship in order to assure an excellent outcome to our job.
Bathroom floor mold removal. Dave responded quickly to my floor problem, completed the job professionally and even completed a little extra job replacing my shower guard. I recommend his work. I plan on using his services in the future. Sarah H.
Tom did an excellent job on removing an outdated popcorn ceiling and adding new texturing and paint. The home was occupied and he did the work without having to remove furniture which was required by another contractor I spoke to. The price was very reasonable and the work was outstanding. When I asked him to come back and add some additional texturing to one area in the entry way he came back and redid the entire area. Tom was prompt and cleaned up and vacuumed at the end of each day. He was very pleasant person to work with and I would highly recommend him.
I recently purchased a 1950’s cabin in the high desert - lots of work, mostly cosmetic. Andrew removed 2 ancient air conditioners, installed a swamp cooler, patched holes in dry wall, adjusted screen and side doors, set exposed [stove] gas pipe into wall, installed backer board for tiled backsplash at sink…. the list goes on! My new project list grows as I type this review. I had a multitude of questions and Andrew was a wealth of knowledge and advice. As a new homeowner, I am very grateful for his suggestions and guidance. Andrew is dedicated, reliable, and goes above and beyond every time. He is extremely hard working, very respectful of client’s budget, and maximizes every minute. He has great energy and a wonderful attitude on the job. He treats every project as if he was working on his own home and I have complete confidence in his work. If you are looking for a high-desert handyman – Joshua Tree, Pioneer town, Landers, Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, etc. – then I highly recommend Andrew.
I am so pleased I chose this company for my project. Anthony replied to my inquiry promptly and came for an estimate the next day, Friday. Now it is Monday at noon and the job is done! He removed a mirrored wall, repaired and retextured the drywall. Protected the work area from flying glass and did an excellent clean up and removal of broken mirror. The texture is a perfect match to the existing walls. Price was very competitive.
As I was unaware of the complexity of the cabinet needing to be removed in order to install a dishwasher, John was able to remove it and put in the dishwasher without any major obstacles. I am happy with the outcome. Have asked John to undertake more projects as well.
Mr. Urrita did a fabulous job by remodeling our home in Palm Desert. He demonstrated such professionalism with our entire family and our beloved neighbors. Mr. Urrita project was to fix our electrical, add wood flooring and tile, remove "popcorn" ceiling, paint entire house, add new carpet in our boys rooms and remodel restrooms. The great news also was that he was under budget! Mr. Urrita is by far the most professional Handyman our family has ever chosen.
August 18, 2015 Re: Letter of Recommendation for Joseph Bartley To Whom It May Concern: We had the pleasure of working with Joe Bartley on a few painting projects at our home last year. He was hired to complete several painting tasks that had been attempted unsuccessfully by a previous painter. One of his tasks was to paint our new black refrigerator and its new wooden panels to match the existing white cabinets in our kitchen. Joe went out of his way to make sure that the paint matched our existing white cabinets exactly both on the wooden panels and the refrigerator itself. We had requested that he paint the rubber seals on the refrigerator which were also black. He advised us that the paint might not adhere to the rubber seals but that he would give it a try. He spent two days trying various methods to get the paint to adhere. When it would not, he carefully removed all of the white paint on the black seals and reinstalled them at no cost to us. He said that since he was fairly sure the paint would not adhere, but that he was interested in experimenting with it, he did not feel right in charging us. Another job was to paint our living room and kitchen ceilings. Joe is such an experienced painter that he did not need to mask either room, painting both without spilling a single drop of paint. He painted both ceilings with two coats of paint in less time than our previous painter had painted another much smaller ceiling in our home with one coat. Joe also restored and painted some wood trim on the outside of our home, again matching the paint exactly even though he did not have the formulas for the paint. Joe is a journeyman painter who not only excels at painting, but also excels at customer service. He is very conscientious of his clients time, making sure he called us if he was running late, which happened only twice while at the paint store trying to match our paint, and he was less than 15 minutes late each time. He also carefully cleans up after each job leaving the premises the same as before he began. We are confident that anyone who hires Joe will find him to be a very personable, responsible and highly skilled journeyman painter. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Sincerely, Jan E. Chik and Phillip L. Chik 8175 Willow Ranch Drive Reno, Nevada 775-376-8863
To whom it may concern: Re: Greg Lang / USA Painting and Construction. In 2004 Greg and his company built for us a 550 square foot game room/oversized casita. The site was originally intended for a standard 300 sq. ft. casita so it was somewhat of a special project as the 300 ft. slab was already in place. The removal of this and the re-orientation of the new slab/foundation was the beginning of the project which consisted of the main room, a full bath, a wet-bar, and closet. The construction moved forward from there to completion without incident and within the timeframe stated and Gregs design matched the exterior and interior of the existing house perfectly. Gregs team was very professional and timely and we were scarcely inconvenienced during the construction. Greg or his foreman was on-site every day overseeing the project. In fact, my wife and I were in England for 3 weeks during this time and Greg took care of our pool, cleaning and adding the necessary chemicals. After completion Greg made some follow-up visits to address any problems. There are none to this date. Greg is a devout Christian and an honest man and we can recommend him highly for any construction or related projects. Randy and Lorrayne Burns Palm Desert, CA
Paul and his crew painted the exterior of my house. They carefully and respectfully removed the wired plants from our house, power washed the house, patched the stucco, painted the house with primer and two coats of paint and then replaced all the vines on the house. They were very pleasant to deal with , cleaned up well and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.
