- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Serve It Up !! always offers two bartenders for the price of one! We not only help with drink service, but we also offer set up and clean up detailing. The worst part about having an party is the clean up left for the next morning. One bartender will be behind the bar, and one will be barbacking as well as walking the party to ensure tidiness and offer cocktail service if desired by Host. Most jobs are offered on 4 hour minimum at $200. However, given party size and event theme, this can be flexible. Each hour after the first 4 is $25. We can offer alcohol packages as well as paper goods. Well/ Premium packages with mixers and garnishes. Customized drinks and themed menu.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the host(ess) and the details about an event is crucial to beginning the process of a successful event! I offer our services first, and let the client know that Serve It Up is able to help in many ways as we have years of catering and party planning experience. The more we know about what is desired and what needs to be done, the more helpful we can be! Event date, length of time, and location is the second step. Serve It Up is always open for travel, if the timing is right :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Serve It Up !! owner Christina has been in the catering business for 13 years, servicing special tastings for a small private party of 5 to events that required 3 days of set up for 15,000 people. We have worked in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Ventura, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Corona, San Diego, Oceanside servicing all types events. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology, a minor in Child Development and am completing a Master's degree in May 2020. I believe my experience in the work field has allowed me to be flexible and patient over the years, knowing that I can figure out almost anything with a great team behind me!
