- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin, I’ll set up a phone consultation to talk in real time about the project needs and pain points. I’ll then arrange an on-site consultation to come see the space, take measurements and discuss overall style notes. I come back with a mood board to serve as our inspiration and move forward with furniture selections and floor layouts. One round of revisions are included and we can then refine and tweak plans. I come on-site for installation and a dream home is made!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising alumni. My degree in design has a focus on merchandising for consumer brands. I’m currently elevating my skill set by studying with Three Birds Renovations Styling School.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Four years ago my husband and I bought our first house: a 1969 single family home in need of some TLC. We’ve had various renovation projects that have ranged from gutting the entire room to small cosmetic updates.
