FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1 person = $90/hr (I have no problem going over an hour, and usually do, if no one is after you) 2 people = $130 (Even people that claim to want one-on-one really push themselves harder with a partner. It gives you almost the same attention as one-on-one, but is more fun and makes you work).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking for more workshops, certification courses, or great people that can teach me things that I do not have experience in. I think variety is key to a healthy lifestyle and constantly challenging yourself is important.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to leave my full-time job at a civil engineering firm to coach crossfit and train people full time. I was doing it before work and after, and I decided that a life behind a desk was not possible for me to maintain. It made sense, I was constantly helping people in the weightroom and I've always been a stickler for proper technique. I like interacting with people regularly and pushing them to reach their goals. It is truly the most rewarding thing I've done thus far with my life. People from all backgrounds walk into my gym. It doesn't matter who they are outside of it, inside the gym, we're all the same, with similar struggles.
