Introduction: I have a competitive sports background on the National and World Cup level. I have lived the lifestyle of, "training twice a day, eat, sleep, and repeat". Now, I live a more functional, sustainable lifestyle, trying to encourage others to accomplish their fitness goals and see firsthand how great a healthy life really can be. I fully believe that the work we put in the gym transfers to our daily lives. This is mental and physical. Hard work in the gym makes one mentally stronger and healthier in other aspects of their lives. The people! It's interesting and challenging to work with different personalities, people from varied backgrounds, and customizing workouts to specific wants and needs. I also really enjoy teaching women/girls how to lift and watching them walk out of here with their chests puffed out a little more.

Training: Started June 2013 and met three days a week. I compete in Olympic Distance Triathons and could relate to Becky with her sports background of Speed Skating and Cycling. For the last three years I really focused on Swimming, Biking and Running, but I heard it would be a good idea to add weightlifting as part of my routine. Problem was, I didn't know how to lift properly. Becky was very patient in teaching me many different exercises. I can tell from her years of experience that she knows what she's talking about. Went Well: - training location (CrossFit New Life) - patience when teaching me - knowledge about nutrition - gained strength to make me faster in my races Warning: if she asks if you want to go to the park for a workout, be cautious, it will most likely be harder than anything you'll do in the gym. First time I did one, I was sore for the next two days. She kicked my ass...in a good way of course.

Becky is not only motivating, she helps you believe in yourself. I never thought I could do the things she asks me to do, but I am able to. Becky makes sure your form is correct so you do not get injured. I highly recommend Becky and I am so thankful she is my trainer.

Becky and I worked together for a short time but she made a HUGE impact on the way I saw myself and fitness. She made me feel good(even when I was no good at something) and encouraged me every step of the way. She kicked my butt every workout and I LOVED it. Every session had a good balance of my individual strengths and weaknesses and I left feeling awesome(and sore) and knew exactly what I needed to work on. I've worked with other coaches since Becky and although they're amazing as well, there is no comparison.
