Introduction: I am a bass/guitar instructor or combo instructor. I offer an approach that is effective and places the student in control of their playing. The approach is context-based, teaching people the music that they want to play. This facilitates the student's interest, motivation, drive, and most importantly, fun which is ultimately motivating. I possess an incredibly well-rounded education in music and a wealth of experience as an instructor. I am a bassist/multi-instrumentalist, studio musician, and performer. I have performed and studied with great musicians from all over the world at the university and professional level. This experience allows me to offer excellent instructions, great teaching methods, and the ability to prepare students for performance and further studies. I have the ability to recognize and meet individual student's needs and form lesson plans that are relevant to specific needs, while keeping students engaged in a fun and encouraging environment. I can easily communicate and connect with students, and I can facilitate learning using various methods.
