Introduction: Hi, I'm Jenny. Animals have been my best friends since I was young. Growing up outside a tiny California farming town. Seeing the amazing miracle of life while helping birth piglets, hatching my first pet chicken in a homemade incubator, watching a baby calf get pulled out of her mom, and take her first steps. There is nothing like it. I learned to love, admire, and respect all living animals at a very young age.
I began working with animals in 4-H. I rode my own horses in rodeos. We had cow pastures nearby and a sheep farm across the street. I spent my weekend as a pre-teen climbing the fence and hanging out and singing "show tunes" to cows.
I began house & pet sitting and walking dogs daily when living in Walnut Creek 16 years ago. I began pet sitting after being a full-time nanny for 6 years. 16 years ago, I answered an ad for a house and pet sitter for 3 weeks in Orinda. I loved it so much that I've changed my career path and never looked back. I realized then I could really have a job that I absolutely loved, and that fulfilled me. I feel so lucky to have found work that makes me so happy. I have enjoyed learning everything I can about animals. I get to help people. I get wet kisses every day from the dogs and cats I love. I enjoy being busy and solving situations. I knew immediately that this felt right. This job has been so incredibly educational, fulfilling, exciting, and fun. I love learning. Being able to be a part of your pets growth is golden to me. Meeting families that are troubled by their dogs' behaviors. This is now one of my favorite challenges. And the feeling of championing the situation. Training the dog and family to overcome and change the behavior. Sharing some fun daily training ideas, books, and apps to the family. Then, getting feedback about the success the kids are making. Knowing they are building a bond with their dog that they will remember all their lives. I hope this relationship will help make them more loving caring people. This completes me. It is so satisfying.
With every walk, we work on general dog walking training, "wait, "heal, "and "stay. " I am continuously working on your dogs good behavior with each walk. I have prepared myself to be your families loving, caring, experienced, and educated pet care provider.

MY PET SITTING SERVICES
I offer overnight house & petsitting in your home. This means I come to your house around dinner time and stay overnight snuggling with your pets till breakfast. Serving your pet meals as you would. After dinner and breakfast walks. Lots of play, tummy rubs, kitty play and snuggles, and loving your pets. I will poop scoop the yard and clean litter boxes.
All pet sitting services include..... gathering mail and packages, curbing trash cans, watering in/out door plants, and leaving your home a bit cleaner than when I arrived.
I also offer drop-in visits, I come visit your pets in your home. I can visit up to 3 times a day. 30 or 60 minutes each visit. Visits include feeding, walking, and loving your pets. Cleaning litter boxes each visit. My favorite cat toy comes with my cat sitting. Cats and dogs, and other house pets....... fish, lizards, chinchillas, guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, goats. Anything you have, I'll take care of it. Well, almost. No, I won't feed mice to your snakes, and no tarantulas.

I spend my afternoons walking dogs. I offer 30 min group neighborhood walks, and a 1 hour doggy play date. Its basically dog park play. I have learned that dogs get alot more excercise when playing with other dogs rather than just walking. So for nore energenic dogs, my 1 hour park play is fantastic.
I walk dogs Rain or shine.
Pet care is my only job. This means that your pets will get 100% of my attention when they are in my care.
I have enjoyed learning everything I can about animals. This job, It fills my days and nights, and my heart. Much of my spare time is spent problem solving. Looking up, learning, practicing, and finding answers to your pets issues, problems, training needs, health, and more.
I take my work very seriously. I'm caring for your beautiful furry family members. I keep their minds and bodies busy while taking extra precautions to keep them safe. Training and exercise is a very Important part of having a happy pet. I feel grateful to be chosen to help your home run smoothly by doing my part to bring home a tired dog each day after our fun afternoon walks. In all trueth, the dogs I walk give me as much joy as I give them. Im a lucky gal. I LOVE WHAT I DO.
Halloween & Christmas are always extra fun with costumes and pictures.
I enjoy texting owners fun pictures and videos of our adventures on our walks or when pet sitting. So you all dont feel left out when we are having so much fun!!
I will take extra great care of your pets. I know how special these guys are to your family. When I begin working with them, they become part of my family, too. I will love your kitty cats and pups as much as you do.
I am experienced in elderly pet care. I love to slow down and join the pets' world. I have done this since I was young. I learned to listen to animals with my eyes and ears. Getting down on their level is a great way to build a bond.
Please book your Overnight House/Pet sitting dates as early as possible. I offer short - and long-term house/pet sitting. Up to 30 days. Also, up to 3 drop-in visits a day.
