I have been a client of Elke's for more that 6 years. I have been seeing her regarding several health concerns including neck issues related to computer over-use at work, and arthritic pain in my knees and shoulder. I have experienced a panoply of treatments under her care - all highly effective. Elke is adept at many traditional alternative healing methods allied with some new innovative treatments. In essence, her approach is to first identify habits in movement, diet or lifestyle that over time have resulted in chronic conditions of pain or disease and then to bring a rich variety of remedies, not accessible through modern medicine, to bear on the complaint. She is trained in Ayurveda and other holistic medicine systems which include many modalities such as variety of massage techniques, dietary and herbal consultations, therapeutic yoga, stress reduction, energy balancing, color-puncture, light therapy and much more. Elke is a dedicated healer who is passionate about her calling and compassionate with her clients. Elke is a pluri-disciplinary queen and she masters all areas. I have used Elke for Ayurvedic consultations, massage therapy, facial, and life coaching. She is able to custom-make every session so her clients get the best out of their time and money. She has an extensive knowledge of Ayurveda and was able to make dietary and lifestyle adjustments based on my body type, which were instrumental in reclaiming my health. With regards to massage therapy, she gives massages that are out of this world! The best I have ever had and I have had quite a few... The technique she uses is Ayurvedic, with long strokes and warm oil to relax the body and calm the nervous system down. She uses all kinds of modalities: acupressure, reflexology, marma points, essential oils, cupping, hot stones, chanting, etc. She works out of her private office, which makes the experience even more exclusive. I look forward to every session I have with her and visit her regularly. As a Health Coach myself I appreciate the fact that it is essential for the nurturer to be nurtured and recharged. Self-care is ultimate, especially in today's stressful and demanding world. Her work goes beyond taking care of the body, as she infuses every session with wisdom to support the mind and spirit as well. She goes above and beyond to meet the clients needs.
