Maximus is the only DJ you will ever need in your contacts. We booked him for our 120 person 10th anniversary party/son's 5th birthday and he managed to get Everyone dancing, from 4 year olds to grandparents in their kid sixties. He is super friendly, the consummate professional, and his lighting rig is out of this world (everything you've ever wanted out of party lights AND a bubble machine? Mind: Blown), and he even took requests. I will be booking him for any future events we have that require a DJ. Make sure to grab a few of his business cards too, because friends will ask about him. Thank you for an unforgettable night!

DJ Maximus Clean was the perfect addition to my 30th birthday celebration! He was very courteous, professional, and proactive throughout the whole process, from booking his services and getting requests and playlists from me, to delivering a memorable night of fun for my friends and family. He was able to effortlessly combine specific songs from my somewhat-eclectic pop playlist with his own picks of top dance hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and he kept my party of folks from their twenties through their sixties happy and dancing well into the night. I would highly recommend him for a birthday, wedding, or any celebration - he really brings people together and out onto the dance floor! 5 stars for DJ Maximus Clean!

I hired Maximus to DJ my sister's 40th birthday party and he did an awesome job keeping the party guests entertained. I was impressed by the music he sleceted to play during the pre- dinner hour. I had loosely suggested cocktail music but he took it to another level and played songs that made even my mom feel nostalgic. Maximus dresses to impress and he was a true professional from beginning to end. My sister commented at the end of the party that she was impressed with Maximus and was delighted that he went out of his way to ensure she had a fabulous time at her party. I would highly recommend Maximus for your next event!

FAQs

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  Each event is different so a free consultation is usually suggested. The price I quote you here is already discounted for being a Thumbtack customer and depends on the size of the audience, and the number of visual effects you request. Special events, such as school Dances, Sweet 16 Parties, Weddings, Halloween, Political Rallies, Mall Openings and New Year's Eve will require more planning and may incur an additional seasonal rate due to demand, so booking ahead is always advised.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  The planning begins with a simple consultation session, either in person or via telephone or computer. I want to make sure I have a good understanding of what desired ambiance of the room should be, for example, whether it's dressy and upscale or casual and energetic. This will also allow me to prepare the music that's best suited for the event and ensures that I am dressed appropriately and professionally when I appear.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I have over 20 years of experience as a mobile disc jockey, master of ceremonies, radio personality/announcer, powermixer, nightclub DJ and international touring DJ. I'm a 'real' DJ who is equally at home on vinyl turntables as I am with digital decks. My customized equipment includes sound systems of various sizes, lights, lasers, fog, strobes and my system gives me immediate connectivity to an online library of over 30 million songs, as well as my own cured playlists culled from my own years of experience.
