My wife and I had been looking to get our hardwood and tile replaced in our house for some time. We have a 2 story 1800 sf home in Folsom and wanted every surface replaced with wood laminate and tile. We received several offers to come by and quote, but in the end we chose Mark from Floor Craft because of these succinct factors: Straight forward quote. Quoted just the work and allowed us to choose the flooring store and materials for ourselves (although he did have plenty of suggestions too). Mark worked with the flooring vendor we chose to make sure all materials arrived on time. Mark's years of experience. Mark could do wood laminate and tile + installed three new low-flow toilets as well as dedicate time to making the stairs look perfect. Mark was local and non-corporate. While the final results took a bit longer than we had set our expectations on (Mark is a one man show, so 1800 SF is not a job that was going to get done in two weeks) we knew this going in and so adjusted our expectations as we went along. In the end we are happy with the work he did and the house looks 100% better that we imagined. We would certainly recommend Floor Craft to anyone looking for a local flooring contractor that is not going to break the bank and yet provides results that, in the end, meet expectations.

Mark is professional, punctual, and trustworthy! He did a fantastic job with our flooring. He gave great recommendations for types of flooring and helped us with a repair from water leak. Very responsive and great quality work. Will definitely be reaching out again for more upcoming projects!!

This experience was so easy. Mark was excellent with communication, he investigated the products I wanted to go with and I really appreciated the photo updates of the project. Now we have a beautiful living room, fireplace, kitchen area and for an amazing price. Mark will be doing my next flooring project and I would highly recommend using him for your flooring needs.

I hired Mark to install engineered hardwood (glue down) in my new home. He was awesome from the start! He's very personable and reliable which I really appreciate. My job didn't start right after he gave me his bid but he stayed in touch and checked in with me frequently. He even took a look at the hardwood I was wanting to purchase to help me make a solid decision. I would definitely hire Mark again and I would happily refer him to anyone. I put him up against a time crush and he delivered. Great work ethic!

Mark was AMAZING! He came to our rescue after we had another contractor (whom we found through Thumbtack) take off with $8,000 without completing the job.. He was easy to communicate with... He knew we were very eager to get our floors done and so he brought in another guy to help him bust out the project....he did an amazing job with our hardwood flooring.... GO WITH MARK! You won't be disappointed

There's no wrong questions, I'm always looking to answer any questions or concerns the client has during any stage of the project. If I don't have the answer right away I will always make it a priority to find the right one.

I do attend seminars and certification classes of flooring manufactures.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always helping my dad and uncle growing up. It wasn't always fun but valuable in my decision to pursue a life in the trade.
