Marco is absolutely great! He teaches you what you want to learn and structures the lesson plan around your custom needs. Each class builds upon the previous ones, and he makes sure to remind you of important points and techniques to improve your work should you forget. I would've completely forgotten about the importance of varying my line weights had he not reminded me at the end of my assignments! Marco is also really sweet and fun to talk to, so every class is an enjoyable experience. He has a great sense of humor, but knows when to be serious and stern because he wants you to succeed as much as you do. Great guy and great teacher! Marco is great to work with and very professional. What I liked most was his flexibility and ability to work around my hectic schedule, being a new mom. He insists on meeting you in person to discuss the direction of the project and will make sure you are happy with the final outcome before he can proceed. We have so far worked on an amazing logo and stationary work and will soon begin work on the actual website. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I usually charge by the hour. Typically a logo design costs about $500. Pricing can be given per specific job, once the brief has been defined.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The fundamental is personal service. Usually everything starts with a telephone conversation to ensure congeniality and that we can provide what the client requires. We also cover pricing expectations and time frames. This is then inevitably followed by a meeting where the project is discussed in detail. Everything is then confirmed in writing and the project is commenced. Briefs are broken down in stages which trigger project reviews, to ensure everything is agreed, is on track and the client is happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Constantly learning to stay up to date, utilizing the latest Adobe Creative suite. Web design and Social Media is progressing at such a rapid speed that if you don't remain abreast of technology, you get left behind!
