Karen is awesome! She spent a lot of time with me, my dog, and my family who all live together understanding what was really going on with my aggressive dog. She gave great tips and recommendations for little things that help establish a clear pack order so that my dog is happy and more relaxed. I have definitely seen an improvement in my dog immediately. I just need to get better about my own consistency with the method and be committed to being a pack leader which is hard sometimes but my dog needs it. She's really great, tons of insight and methods that seem small but make a huge difference in dog language.
I'm so happy I found DeeCee! She gave my dog the love & care he needs & deserves. I went to work & didn't have to worry about him. She took good care of him & im looking forward to bringing my boy back to her when I work!
I would recommend Superstar Pet Sitting to all my family & friends. Barbie has been walking my dog and takes care of my cat when I am away. I have never had any problems with her and my pets just love her. They even picked up some good training ethics from her. It's been 2 years now and things are wonderful. :)
We LOVE Cindy! After recently moving back to LA, she’s been the great addition to our family. Our dog, Clarence, leaps when she arrives and has thrived in the routine of being with Cindy and the other dogs Monday through Friday. She sends photos, organizes grooming, and cares deeply about her work. We feel incredibly grateful and trust her completely. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Steve is an incredible, elite master trainer. He holds the key to unlocking all of your dogs' best attributes. He has done wonders for my dogs, and I have witnessed him doing even more for others. There's nothing that this man can't fix about your dog. But, you must be willing to put in the time and do what it takes to maintain. I have two mixed breeds (brother and sister) that have severe separation anxiety, when they weren't near each other. They were completely co dependent on each other, fearful and extremely sensitive to everything around them. They would whine and bark when separated. Steve had them for less than two weeks, and now they have no problem, at all being separated. He taught me how to build their confidence, and help them succeed. Which has made training them in obedience much easier. They now have the will to work, and the desire to learn more. As do I. He has inspired me so much that it has now become my passion, and I am now his apprentice. What I love most about the way that he trains, is that he is very gentle and patient with the dogs. He is by far more concerned with the dogs' well-being than anything else. He can be pretty tough on the owners, but once you come to realize why, you really can't be mad at him. The issues that your dog has, are typically there because of you. Your dog is a mirror of yourself. Once you've accepted that, you can then both change together, building the bond between you and your dog even stronger. But, you must be part of the change in order for it to work. Wendy is my senior master trainer, and I have learned so much already from both of them. They have taught me beginner and advanced obedience, behavior work, tracking, scent detection, how to show in AKC competitions, how to train movie dogs, and much more. Through the skills that I have acquired from them, I am now teaching my own classes and training dogs daily, using the same incredible methods that these amazing dog trainers have taught me. I highly recommend Steve and Wendy, and all of their trainers to anyone who truly cares for their dog.
Great people. Great service. Our dogs go out on 2 hour socialization hikes or trips to a park, 3 days/wk. And they go for neighborhood walks, 2-3 days/wk. I rest assured that they are getting excercise and are with experienced, knowledgeable, caring people. Even when walking or playing with several dogs, they are aware of each dog's needs. I trust them to drop off, pick up, or feed my dogs when no one is home. Both of my guys get very excited when Theresa or Brad come to the door. They have been a part of our lives for well over a year and we are very grateful.
Susan is not just a loving care taker of my dog, Max and my cat, Sir Purrs A Lot, but I think she's actually an animal whisperer. She is my daily dog-walker and has also house/dog/cat sat for a week at a time on many occasions. I completely trust her and know that my animals are in great care when she is with them. I would recommend her highly.
We are so glad we picked Jenny as our dog pet sitter! She took care of our dog for 4 days while we were traveling. She was very attentive and kind with our boy and was always sending pictures and messages. Which helped us to see how he was doing. One thing that really amazed us is that our dog was trained in portuguese and Jenny learned somethings just so he could understand her better! Our dog was very happy under Jenny's care and that's the most important part for us. We sure recommend her services.
Ginny takes care of my pup 4+ times a week! Always on time and goes above and beyond to make sure he is fully taken care of! So thankful to have her to be with my dog!!
Thanks for taking care of our dog Wilson.
Kayla did an amazing job! Our dogs loved having her as a care taker. We would highly recommend her to anyone.
Golden Day Pet Services is like the Ritz-Carton for Dogs! Michael has the best customer service ever and my dog gets the royal treatment every time he stays the night! My dog Duke is so happy when I drop him off! Michael sends pictures, posts, and updates on Dukes daily activities. I know he is in good hands with Michael and I do not worry about his care when I am out of town. I highly recommend Golden Days Pet Services!!!
We were fortunate enough to connect with Susan (our "fairy dogmother") shortly after getting our puppy, and we've been working with her for the past five months. What a difference she has made in our lives, and in the way that we interact with our puppy! Susan's approach is gentle and loving, rather than stern and forceful. She teaches primarily through positive reinforcement, and it's amazing to see our puppy respond. In just a few short months, our German Shepherd has become well-adapted and obeys simple commands. Susan engenders respect and trust from our puppy, and he is astoundingly eager to obey her; she has done a wonderful job of training us as well! Most importantly, her training teaches patience, persistence, and positive interaction with your pet. There are no "pinch" collars involved in Susan's training, no loud berating or punishment of your puppy. Instead, she trains the puppy with encouragement and reward (for our dog Max, that means treats and back scratches). Something that I strongly believe helped our pet to trust Susan and want to please her was "puppy camp," during which our puppy stayed with Susan for several days while we were out of town. While we were initially reluctant to leave our brand new puppy, when we returned, our puppy already had the foundations of strong training, and our subsequent training has been much easier because of that. I highly recommend Susan's training for your puppy or dog, and to the extent possible, I advise that all family members participate in getting trained so everyone in the family is on the same page. You will bless the day that you found your "fairy dogmother!"
We love Devyn and Vanessa! They have been walking and boarding our dog for almost a year. Very kind, trust worthy, and they love our dog like their own (or at least we think so :) )
Bo went in pulling on the leash and crazy excited when he saw another dog. One hour later he walked out calmly and was completely unphased by other dogs he saw. I've got to keep it up, but Paul got me and Bo back on track!
This is the best thing in the world. My dog was there for a few days and I could tell he din’t want to leave.
LeNai is a professional through and through and knows dogs amazingly well and can handle every size of dog. Walking, training, playing - she is a pro! But what really makes the difference for me, is that she is treating your dog like it is her own. She gives my Sasha so much love and helps her overcome her separation anxiety. She gives updates every day, and I can 100% rely on her. When I go on my trips, I have 100% peace of mind leaving my dog with LeNai.
We hired Janice to pet sit our dog and cat while staying in our home for a period of three weeks while we were on vacation. We had never hired a pet/house sitter before, so I was very nervous about finding the right person. Janice was completely understanding and patiently answered questions and provided requested documents to address any concerns. During our initial meeting, Janice asked excellent questions regarding our pets' routines, meals, personalities and health which demonstrated care and experience related towards the care of pets. She also asked very good questions pertaining to staying in our house as part of her house sitting responsibilities. I felt very at ease meeting Janice and hired her without reservation. While we were away, Janice regularly texted us with updates and photos of our "furry family" which was very comforting to us. When she was faced with a couple of minor, unexpected home repair issues, Janice handled the problems very well and responsibly. With Janice's excellent, regular communication, we were never in doubt about our pet's well being and the care of our home. Janice was an excellent pet care provider and took very good care of our home. It is very evident that Janice loves animals and they absolutely trust her and love her! My dog and cat were immediately comfortable with Janice and so were we! She is very kind, caring and wants nothing more than to connect with your pet and take outstanding care of them! Janice exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to hire her again! Her rate was excellent and very competitive! You can trust Janice!
I've gone through several dog walkers since moving to Los Angeles area and Furry Paws is by far the best I have had - I'll be sticking when from here on out! They send me constant updates, are extremely reliable and very trustworthy. My dog always seems happy when I get home from the extra care they provide him. I'd definitely recommend them!

I have been watching and walking dogs for five years. We do overnight stays for as many days and nights needed. We also do dog walking. We come to you, and we do pet stays for just a day.
We moved to Los Angeles from New York City in 2009 with our Jack Russell terrier, Brecken. As a 7-month-old puppy, Brecken was true to his breed -- high-energy, smart and devious (chewed coffee table legs, unraveled rugs, and shredded doggy toys). Of course, this meant that our first order of business was to find a dog day care to keep him happy, safe and busy while we were working. We toured a number of facilities but left disappointed, unable to find the right one. So, we decided to create a day care that Brecken and his dog pals would love. We had four main criteria for our day care. The first was to design a daily schedule that not only allowed dogs to exercise and play but to get the rest they needed. Secondly, we wanted to ensure our dogs had their own private spaces for sleeping and eating. Thirdly, we were concerned that some cage-free overnight facilities were prone to overcrowding, so we wanted more space with fewer dogs. Lastly, we wanted to offer sports and activities to keep dogs (and us!) mentally and physically fit. In the end, we accomplished all of those things and more. Pet owners come into Fitdog all of the time and say, "You must think I'm crazy because I love my dog so much." We respond, "Not hardly. We love our dog so much, we built a day care for him."
