She was very responsive and helpful in assisting us in obtaining the right color for our cabinets. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again. I will post a picture once the project is completed

Morgan is nothing short of wonderful. I will 100% be contacting her for future design projects. She is extremely professional, polite and friendly. She communicates clearly, efficiently and effectively. She was a joy to work with and she was able to provide and give life to absolutely stunning ideas. 10-out of-10 would recommend. Her prices were very reasonable for the exceptional quality of work she provided. You won't be disappointed.

Interior Design

While I found Morgan to be very friendly, she is inexperienced. I have a small home - 1200sqft, 3bed/2bath - and I was simply looking for paint ideas for my kitchen, dining/living room, and entry way. What she delivered was very disappointing. We set up her visit during a phone call. This was my first time hiring a interior designer and I was forthright about that. I told her that I had no idea what to expect from any step of the process. She seemed understanding and I was looking forward to her visit. She spent about an hour at my home and I pointed out all my desires of where I wanted her suggestions to highlight and bring color to the areas. I also asked for suggestions for tasteful exterior colors. I pointed out a new set of pendant lights I recently installed. She took lots of pictures, asked about art and seemed to invest nicely into the project. The next day it dawned on me that we did not discuss any of the financial details of my project besides her hourly rate of $75. I sent an email asking for more information about that and what I should expect of her in working on the deliverables. She apologized and explained she does not usually give estimates and that sending an invoice weekly is what she could do for my small project if I prefer. She also attached her contract. I had not yet been asked to sign anything nor had I authorized any dollar amount, but she informed me that she was already working on a "first draft" that would take two hours. I was a little taken by her beginning a two-hour task without approval, but I was open-minded and thought a three-hour term would be acceptable for the deliverables. We spoke on the phone to clear everything up and it left me more confident and excited about her future presentation. I authorized $225, a three-hour effort period. The next day I received her email first draft and an invoice. I was highly disappointed and actually felt ripped off. With all we discussed about the areas of my home, inside and out, three hours of her time produced only one, three-color scheme for the interior and one, three-color scheme for the exterior. Only one for each. She attached a single, two-page document. The exterior images were not even of my home. I have searched many paint sites online and have used their tools to visualize paints in rooms or exteriors of my choice. I have used tools to find suggestions of modern, preselected color groupings. I have visited sites to see the latest, trending colors per color group. I am a software developer so I am savvy with presentations and I know I could have put together more than one, three-color scheme per area in about an hour. It would have been rough without professional tools I assume Morgan has access to, but the groupings would have been documented and sharable. For $225 Morgan fell short. Way short. As a consumer I expect to see value for my money and I felt she did a disservice. One thing that left me puzzled was her use of the dominant color of my new pendant lights. They have a mostly blue marbled pattern that includes greys and white. Her mock-up had my entire living and dining rooms blue. Wouldn't that wash away the accent aspect of my lights? And it wasn't even the nice blue of the "swatch". I found that alone to be lazily produced. I gave her the benefit of the doubt though. Before questioning her work effort, I asked if she spent the three hours on me already. She said she did. I thanked her, stated that will be all for me, and promptly sent her payment in full. I thought she was going to reach out to discuss the experience, given I promptly ended the project, but she did not. I even waited to write this review with the hope of hearing from her. I don't know why Morgan didn't follow up. It would have been a very professional thing to do. Now I feel like my project was not worth-while to her and she did not care about my feelings. I feel ripped off. (You should have contacted me Morgan) I did not need to hire a professional but I wanted the experience. She did not assume control of the project and she did not instill much confidence in me leading up to her disappointing, two-page suggested scheme document. Morgan needs more experience. I want her to succeed and I hope she reads this as constructive criticism and gets many more opportunities.
