Schnee is the consumate professional. She was timely, offered tips and advice while applying my makeup and did an OUTSTANDING MAKEUP APPLICATION for my son's wedding. I couldn't be happier with her. She is my go to makeup artist for all events and occasions.

The Job was pin up style for a photo shoot. My experience with Schnee was awesome. She really did a fabulous job. My hair and make up was on point. I was very pleased. I wouldn't ask her to change anything. Thank you dazzling by Schnee😃

Schnee was nice and I will start by saying that she somewhat tried to fix the problems we had, but they were serious problems that could not be fixed. The first issue we had was during my trial run. I hired her for wedding hair and makeup, so we did the trial run for both hair and makeup the morning of my bachelorette party. I had to leave at a certain time to go out of town, and she ran out of time on my hair. We both agreed it was not up to par, and she was very kind to offer to do it again for free if I could drive to her house (the first time she came to my house). I was disappointed that we ran out of time, but decided to have her try again. At this point I want to say that my makeup looked great! I was very pleased with it and felt very pretty. All my bridesmaids agreed that my hair was not ready yet, but my makeup looked good. When I went to have my hair trial a second time, I again showed her some pictures I had found online of the style I wanted. The first time she had done my hair, she did not do the style I wanted, but I had not been clear what I wanted, as I wasn't even fully sure yet. I assumed that the second time would come out much better and would be the perfect wedding hairstyle. Unfortunately, even with unlimited time and Schnee doing her best work, my hair was still not the style I asked for, and looked very messy. I could not really tell what it looked like in the interior room, but got a better look when I finally went outside. I tried to leave with a smile and said I would contact her soon, but I was again very disappointed with the work. My now-husband and girlfriends all asked “That’s her best work?” and agreed that I should not hire her to do my hair. I decided to hire her to do my makeup, so I wanted to stay polite and just let her know that I would be going in a different direction with my hair. I figured if she wanted to know why I wasn't hiring her for hair, I would tell her if she asked for more details. (This was all a few weeks prior to wedding date.) The next week she e-mailed me the contract for makeup only. It stated she would arrive at my hotel the day of my wedding at 12pm. I signed the contract, sent her photos of it from my phone per her request, and paid the $50 deposit on paypal. (This was during the week before the wedding.) On the day of my wedding, I got a very disturbing text at 9:17am stating she made a mistake on the contract and would not be able to arrive at 12, but was coming at 1pm. I told her this was not enough time, as my makeup would take an hour, and I needed time to get dressed and take photos after the makeup. The limo was scheduled to pick all of the ladies up at 2. Originally she had told me that she only schedules one wedding per day, so I was very confused as to why she could not arrive on time on such a big day for me. In her text she stated that she was coming from another wedding that morning! I texted her back saying, “Well my contract says 12 and also you told me that you don't book multiple events on the same day. Hope to see you much earlier than 1. I am not comfortable leaving my makeup till the last hour before we get picked up at 2.” She said she would give me a $40 discount and would be there as fast as possible. I tried to go about my morning and not stress about the situation, but I was already fairly upset. At 12:38 she texted me that she was on her way, which again was very upsetting to me, because I was expecting her to at least arrive by 12:45-ish. I asked where she was coming from, and her first event that morning was an hour away from mine!!! I could not believe it. She was not even going to make it to me by 1pm! She did text me a few times that she was sorry and that really my makeup would only take 45 minutes (interesting how it keeps getting shorter and more rushed). I basically texted her “no thanks” at that point and said I would be starting my own makeup. She offered to still come, have me ready by 2:15, and would do it for free. In her defense she did apologize again and said she felt awful. By this point I was already doing my own makeup and had my mom text her back that it was not about the money but about the timeline. I was so frustrated and even if we could have made it work, I did not want her to come at all anymore. She was the one who broke the contract and lied about booking multiple events back to back. She said she would refund my $50 deposit and that is the last thing we talked about that day (June 13). After not hearing back from her in several days and not receiving my deposit back, I texted her on June 22 and she said the deposit was in the mail to me that day. I don't understand why she did not immediately send my deposit to me on the 13th and I again felt upset that I had to ask her about it. In summary, thanks for reading my novel! She is a nice person and does great makeup, but is NOT a hair stylist. I am not sure how long she has been in the business, but it seems that she is still unsure how to balance and schedule events. This was a huge upset and stress on my wedding day, the one day in my life where I wanted a perfect appearance. I would be very wary and clear up front of your needs if you choose to work with Schnee. I have tried to be as fair and honest as possible about all of this situation.
