- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Weddings: My prices are based on travel costs and time involved. If someone is a military veteran I give some latitude in my pricing. However - a basic wedding that is within 50 miles of my residence in Elk Grove is normally just $250 - if you come to Elk Grove and do it at the local park or someplace right in town - a no fuss wedding no rehearsal - $100 - If I travel outside of my area I work out the price. Funerals: $150 donation - if it is at a great distance then transportation costs need to be met. For veteran families - a donation of whatever they wish to give - but for KIA there is no charges.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was helping veterans and inmates and this just grew from people needing services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings: I meet or talk on the phone/email/facebook etc with the bride and groom. I want to deliver what they need and work together to make this their special day. I do as little or as much as they desire for me to do. If they do not have a wedding planner - then I am open to advising but limit what I do to the ceremony itself.
