FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my pricing competitive; I may not be the lowest-priced, but the value for what you get with me is priceless. When you choose me, you now have someone who is deeply invested in you, whether it's creating portraits you'll love or helping you be successful in your business with the images we create together. I think my pricing is fair (i.e., what a pro should be charging for the kinds of photos clients want), but I'm also sensitive to tight budgets. It never hurts to ask how we can make the most out of your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It really depends on the kind of project you have. Some projects are pretty straightforward, and I can get the kind of information I need through email. Some things, though, are more sensitive: a lot of times I'll talk with a boudoir client by phone or even meet with her before the session so she gets a good sense of who I am and knows she'll feel comfortable in our session. The bottom line is, whatever my customer needs, I'm there for them. After I shoot, I typically turn images around pretty quickly; I often get a gallery to a client within a week or so, and once they pick their favorites, it's only a few days to a week before I get them their final images. If a client has particular timing needs, I'll always make sure the images are done by that deadline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning how to do more in my field. I keep up on forums and tutorials, and I'm always studying images I love to see how they were created.
