Markshane's shape up studio is AWESOME!!! He and his personal trainers take great care and support for each client. I went to Markshane's studio out of shape, overweight, and "afraid" to start working out after so many years of little physical activity. Markshane immediately made me feel comfortable. He is professional, encouraging, truthful, and educated me on nutrition and how the body works with the physical training he has you work thru. Markshane took great care into listening to what i wanted as my goals and is helping me achieve them. All of Markshane's trainers are phenomenal! It feels like a big family there And every trainer comes with so much experience. I have seen results quicker than i ever expected! I am stronger, more toned, and eat so much healthier now. Markshane knows all of his clients on a first name basis and really gets to know you. He keeps in constant communication with me. This was important to me as i know he truly cares about each and every client and their well being versus running just a business. I would recommend Markshanes Shape Up Studio to anyone. You will have to work hard, but the trainers work with you to ensure your safety and to push you so you WILL reach your goals. Everyone is encouraging there. I have always been an athlete growing up, and I still consider myself pretty fit. However was getting bored just running and didn't want to spend the money going to a crowded gym so decided to give personal training a try. Lana is the perfect choice! I've been with Lana for a little over a week and she is outstanding! Very professional, and nice yet extremely motivating. She knows a lot about cardio and strength training, and even runs with me during our workouts. I highly recommend Lana.
I have been training with Jobie for about 5 years. Great trainer!!! His knowledge of how the body is supposed to work, in my view is very important. I think that is why I do not get hurt while training. If I am doing something wrong he will correct my stance and or posture so I do not injure myself.
I have been training with Wess and so far my experience has been great! He pushes me hard, motivates me to keep pushing forward and works with my crazy work schedule! I highly recommend Wess. He listens to my concerns and customized my workout to fit my level and goals. I just got back into working out and am looking forward to hitting my goals this year!
She is great to work with. At first I was a little skeptical working wit has a female because there wasn't many male reviews but she really knows how to get you motivated. She gets you back on track when you have bad weeks tracking nutrition. I haven't started training with her yet and have only done the nutrition portion. I've been working through injuries and her ability to design a proper macro program has got me where I need to be, now that I'm healthy I look forward to seeing how she challenges me with training!
I've been doing personal training since 2010 through many different trainers, my all time favorite was with Brittany. I went through a phase where I wasn't conditioned to training, had gained weight and wasn't use to lifting weights. The first time we trained together, I thought it was really weird but she made it of importance about my breathing and posture and didn't just get right back into lifting like I use to. A couple sessions later, I really actually felt a difference because she made it important to recondition myself and make sure that I breathe properly while I train! She not only made me feel physically fit, she was a great person to talk to, and made me feel great while I worked out and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I wouldn't ever want another trainer, and when I'm done with my break from training, Brittany and I are going to be back out there hitting those new PR's!
I have only known Tom for a couple months, but can confidently say that he is one of the best athletic performance coaches in the world. Like other master coaches, his technical and anatomical knowledge is extensive, often making complex and powerful concepts easy to grasp and implement-no matter your physical competency. Tom is also extremely passionate about having good form, mainly to ensure injury avoidance, learn quickly, and optimize performance. Tom will work you smartly and hard, like any good coach, but what really differentiates Tom from others is his unique ability to push you through real and perceived mental obstacles, doing so in a memorable way, often with a supportive nudge and hilarious sense of humor. Laughs, learning, and results are what you will get with Tom.
I have been training with Johanna Godinez now for almost 3 years and I can honestly say I am WAYY better shape than I have ever been in my life. I had multiple trainers in the past, but the difference is Johanna Godinez not only gave me a great workout every single session. She also showed me how to live a healthy clean lifestyle. And that is what seperates Johanna from the rest of the trainers out there. Many trainers can guide you to lose weight or get into shape, but Johanna Godinez is the only trainer I have ever had the pleasure to work with that taught me it is not only important to take my training session serious, but more importantly make healthy living a lifestyle. Johanna is extremely educated at her profession and takes her job very seriously. I would highly recommend her to anyone one who is serious about achieving there fitness goals.
I had the privilege to work with Lisa Michele and give her program my highest recommendation! The 90-day program put together by Lisa exceeded all my expectations! She taught me different ways to think about food, in terms of eating and preparing food. We also spent time discussing fitness topics, and even though I live in Phoenix, she was able to prescribe an exercise program that helped me meet my fitness and health goals. I finally lost those stubborn last 10 pounds I struggled to lose, strengthened my upper body and I even ran my first 5K race, with her training program, support, and encouragement. Lisa has a friendly personality, abundant energy, empathetic soul, and is a genuinely good person. Her program really worked for me.

I was referred to Colby by one of my closest friends who spoke very highly of him. It took some time to convince me but after seeing her transformation from working out with him, I was sold. He coaches me on nutrition and shows me how to work out when Im not training with him. During my workout sessions, he tunes all distractions away and focuses on me by ensuring Im getting the best work out and that Im doing it properly. He holds me accountable of my diet which is something that I never had to do before and provides positive reinforcement to ensure I stay on track. Because of my training with Colby, I can now be a good example to my daughter. She enjoys watching me get thinner because we get to do more fun things together. Im so happy that Colby is helping me get my life back.
I have been training with Zack 3 times a week for about 6 months now. Zack is awesome! He is constantly changing up the workouts to best fit my needs and is super flexible to accommodate his clients as best as possible. After having broken my pelvis playing D1 soccer, Zack has been helping me recover through a very specific strength training program. I've definitely seen my strength, mobility, and agility improve since working with him.

I am on week 11 with training with Tyler. He is overall a great trainer and friend. He is responsiveness is superb as I am able to text him to ask him any questions I need and he is flexible with my schedule. He gives great feedback and I am never afraid to tell him what workouts I am enjoying and which I am not and he is very willing to work with me to meet my needs. His knowledge about the human body and about fitness is extensive for being an undergrad in school and I feel confident in what he says. Dina is an accomplished professional with over 20 years experience. I needed to train with someone who had my best interest at heart and I am very glad I met her. Dina is helping me with mobility issues. After 2 weeks I can say that I can actually move better.Dina is patient and thorough. She includes not only physical training but also diet and attitude along the way. She is fun but never looses track of the real goal...training. I have had a few different trainers before finding Brittney, and I didn’t have a great experience with them. I felt as if the meal plans that I was recieving were pre-made and not really for me. Training with Brittney, she’s provided me a meal plan that works for me! There’s certain things I cannot eat and she makes the point to form the plan around my tolerance and still achieve results. I have lost 10 pounds in two months of training with her AND gained 5 pounds of muscle! I feel amazing. I am still training with her and plan to. With demanding job as photographer, I find it really easy to get the work done and it’s all explain for me in the app. Best trainer I have ever had! Thank you for all your hard work! 5 out of 5!
I am so happy to have found a personal trainer who is extremely knowledgeable about the field and very patient with someone who is just getting into fitness. I have been training with Stacey for almost 2 months now and love that our workouts are challenging yet fun. Aside from the workouts, she has created a diet plan specific to me and my needs.
