When I first met Beany, I weighed in at 85kg (187lbs) at age 19. I had reached a point where I not only needed changed, but more importantly, I wanted to change. I had convinced myself that looks didnt matter so I stopped seeing my physical self. But looks do matter. My physical and mental health matters. Working with Beany taught me that I had absolutely no idea what I was capable of. Completing a mile, at the time, seemed like an impossible achievement. But now, I run 5ks on the regular. Bordering on size 18, I am now down to a size 10. Working with Beany showed me that I can always push harder, run farther, go faster, withstand more pain because I am built to last. The confidence she instilled in me changed the entire game inside and outside of the gym. The golden rules being you can always do anything and you can always do them for 10 more seconds. And another 10. Working with Beany has made me kinder to my mind and body. It is not what you do on your good days that marks your progress but how you bounce back from your bad ones. Knowing how to eat right, through quality and quantity, has changed how I live and preform right. Beany is not a magician. She does not deal with wishes and hopes. She is certainly not for those with wishy washy commitments. Show up with your self and a persevering desire for change, and she will guide you and your goals towards the better. Currently weighing in at 73 kg (161lbs) and maintaining, the journey continues!

Master Robert Bombalier of Absolute Self Defense is a representation of unbridled professionalism in every sense of the word. While other schools of martial arts may focus on basics, sparring, or endurance testing, Master Bob's versatile knowledge of varying styles combines to create a more extensive and practical understanding of modern self-defense, as well as a better method of learning and practicing the martial arts. With an extensive knowledge of kinesiology, Master Bombalier has the unparalleled ability to fine tune your self defense training to a personal level. Robert Bombalier's teaching style instills lessons of respect, discipline, and beneficial personal development through all aspects of life. For me, starting off with martial arts as a young child, and continuing to study the ways of self defense into young adulthood, I can certainly say that Master Bombalier's influence and guidance in my training remains impeccably beneficial. For example, an extensive amount of my training went into dealing with anxiety, controlling fear, and handling my day to day struggles with asthma, of which all I have been given the chance to manage thanks to his service. In my time with Master Bob, I have watched as people from all walks of life come together to learn how to strengthen themselves in the realms of self defense, prepare themselves in case of emergency, and most importantly better themselves in the process under the guidance and instruction of this professional martial artist. Martial arts requires key, inherent characteristics of those in participation including effort, etiquette, character, sincerity, and self-control, and no-one I have ever studied under embodies these beneficial qualities more than Master Robert Bombalier of Absolute Self Defense.

I have been one of many of Zacs students that have followed him from UFC and other gyms he would train at. The reason being is that he is worth it! Both brothers Zac and Jeremy have the knowledge and patience to match each one of their students needs. Jeremy is also amazing with my kids in the youth classes and makes it fun for them as well as wears them out! If you are a hard working mother like myself and need some good stress relief or just want to learn REAL self defense or maybe a little of both and have fun while doing it, I highly recommend Zac and Premier! These brothers make you feel like family once you become a member!

When I started running at age 57, Jane worked with me on specific self defense moves. We practiced a variety of quick and effective responses. I felt MUCH more confident after working with her. She was terrific--just what I needed. Jane also highlighted prevention and situations to avoid that were not so obvious to me before we went over them. This was very helpful. I wholeheartedly endorse her work. Barbara Ames

I have been a patient of Justin's for around two years and I feel it is time for me to truly express my gratitude toward Justin and the healing has provided for me through his acupuncture. Let me start by saying that I am a Registered Nurse in an ICU that practices primarily Western Medicine. I first presented to Justin with a multitude of symptoms from plantar fasciitis, chronic stomach and bloating issues, back pain, hip pain, depression and anxiety from the process of divorce and overall feeling of being run down and just tired all the time. I had already seen GI specialists and podiatrists, Internal Medicine Specialists, allergists, neurologists, chiropractors and a therapist weekly. I was beyond frustrated and became hopeless that I would never find relief or answers to my ailments and began to think it was possibly all in my head...part of that is true. Justin does more than just provide the typical needle therapy. Over the years he has treated me with acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, healing touch/Reiki, and the other traditional eastern modalities that I don't even know how to pronounce. But one skill I am most grateful for is his ability to guide and teach while I'm receiving the treatment. For me it is like a meditation and it was/is this process that I feel helped me to truly start healing. Justin guided me to pay more attention and recognize my thought patterns and would shed light onto how these thoughts impact my body and daily activities. He teaches me about the channels and the Chi, about different types of beneficial herbs, teas and foods I can incorporate and if your lucky he will share one of his original jokes. I could tell you the exact treatment I received that I feel changed my life. It was the moment that I finally gave in and stopped getting in the way of my own healing. I let my guard down, I cried for almost an hour and I "let it go". Justin had asked me if I was holding onto identities that didn't serve me or if I was expressing my true self to the world. I faced my reality and gave permission to myself to become whole again and to be me. In our few years together this happened only three months ago. From that moment on I became aware that it really was a patient/provider relationship. Sure I would get relief every time I received a treatment, but now actually trying to focus on the needles and the energy flow, clearing my mind and inviting the healing to occur it is a completely different experience. I have had enormous relief from my pain, eczema went away, depression is gone and I've stopped seeing a therapist, my GI issues are under control, I sleep better and I feel like I am me and I am enough. I do still have my Western Medicine MD's that I see but I know that I would never have come this far in my journey of healing and self reflection were it not for Justin's wealth of knowledge, kindness, empathy, education and obvious desire to help his patients on their path to optimal health and self discovery. I will be forever grateful.
