Working with Markshane and all of his trainers at shape up studio has been the best fitness experience I've ever had. The first meeting with Markshane was a "get to know" you session and I could tell he really cared about me and my goals. When I came in for my first training session after the consultation, I could tell he listened to what I liked and wanted because my favorite exercises were sprinkled throughout the 30 min session. If you are hesitating to begin your fitness journey because you are uncomfortable in your body or with your current fitness level, don't be. The trainers at Shape up studio are kind, compassionate, and really want to see you succeed. I'm really glad I took the first step and started working out here. I have no doubt that Shape up Studio will get me to my fitness goals!

Rich has the rare combination of passion and patience not often seen in the fitness and training world. In my many personal ups and downs in my ongoing battle with my weight, Rich was the one trainer who knew how to push me, yet keep things fun and interesting. He never allowed workouts to get stale or repetitive and knew that perfect balance to push you to the limit without breaking you. The best part about Rich is that he is a normal guy's guy and doesn't look down on anyone. He knows how to relate complicated nutrition and training principles to a lay-personwho doesn't understand the first thing about any of it. My only complaint is he no longer is local so I can't train with him anymore! However, I recently lost 40lbs implementing those many little tricks he passed on to me years ago. As I said, he knows how to relate the information in ways that are easy to remember and so that you won't forget. Do yourself a BIG favor and train with Rich today!

Wes is very reliable, professional, certfied trainer. He is at my house at 5:30 AM always on time. He knows how to get you to maximize ones training, without feeling injured, or burnt out; which is a feeling I would get with previous trainers. I highly recommend him.

After having my third child and feeling very out of shape, she came to my rescue and developed several nutrition and fitness plans that I worked on. I hired Tom initially to get in shape for my approaching wedding in Hawaii, which I then continued for 3 months after as the results were excellent. Tom pays attention to your goals, habits, metabolic type, and physical abilities. His diet suggestions and diversity in workout routines kept things interesting and fun (as fun as working out can be at first!) Tom's knowledge of CrossFit training, weights, and various other disciplines set him apart from your typical 24hr fitness trainer. He was willing to be flexible with my work schedule and was always available for a quick call or text. Tom provides encouragement, support, and puts together a solid plan to achieve your goals. I would highly recommend Tom for anyone hesitant or intimidated by the gym and or initial commitment of getting in shape.

I have been training with Johanna Godinez now for almost 3 years and I can honestly say I am WAYY better shape than I have ever been in my life. I had multiple trainers in the past, but the difference is Johanna Godinez not only gave me a great workout every single session. She also showed me how to live a healthy clean lifestyle. And that is what seperates Johanna from the rest of the trainers out there. Many trainers can guide you to lose weight or get into shape, but Johanna Godinez is the only trainer I have ever had the pleasure to work with that taught me it is not only important to take my training session serious, but more importantly make healthy living a lifestyle. Johanna is extremely educated at her profession and takes her job very seriously. I would highly recommend her to anyone one who is serious about achieving there fitness goals.

I started working with Candon almost two years now and it has proven to be an amazing investment. He is a very professional and knowledgeable trainer in both physical fitness and nutrition. When I started working with Candon he was super flexible with my workout routine and fitness goals; I was newly pregnant and he was able to work with me throughout my pregnancy and beyond. One of the many reasons to choose a personal trainer is that they can watch how you exercise and tweak your posture/movements/etc to better tone your muscles and create a fitness routine so that you actually see results! Candon customizes your plan to fit you as well as push you to be better. He is fantastic at what he does and I am stronger because of it! Candon is always looking for ways to change things up and keep the workout interesting; I’m always super energized after our sessions! Candon is super flexible with scheduling around peoples’ busy lives. He also creates routines for you to do outside of your sessions with him. He is very encouraging and has become a good friend! I can’t say enough about him! He is the best.

I've been training with Zack at VBA fitness for about 5 months now, and I've definitely seen a positive difference. I'm much stronger and have a lot more energy. Zack designs the workouts to fit your needs and works well with you if you had any previous injuries. The sessions overall are very challenging but fun! I highly recommend Zack as a personal trainer!

Through Jon Sanchez Fitness, I have received one on one training where I have been able to improve in all areas. He has also trained me on the turf working on agility drills and sprints, and I have noticed a tremendous difference in my endurance and fitness capability. John Burson has been my fitness trainer for over 12 years. He is highly competent and very professional, but what I like best is how attentive he is in customizing the workout specifically for me. Over many years, he has always fine tuned each exercise to best match my sometimes changing needs and wishes regarding my fitness. Thanks also to his very friendly attitude, every workout with him is always fun and enjoyable, never boring. Last but not least he is also very reasonable with his rates and flexible to accommodate my schedule. I would recommend John as a rare example of an ideal fitness trainer.

Stubbs is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and conscientious trainer and person. Rather than receiving a cookie-cutter workout and simple form checks like I have from past trainers, Stubbs paid special attention to exactly what I was and wasn't capable of then created workouts tailored around my capabilities in order to get me into the best shape of my life. He puts his full effort into achieving your fitness goals inside and outside of the gym. Not only did I make strength gains, but his focus on posture and mobility has eradicated all my back, hip, and knee pain that made me fear working out in the first place. Reign Athletics & Self Made Training Facility have completely changed my expectations having a personal trainer. I have had trainers at Eos fitness & L.A. fitness and I will never go back to either places or any local gyms for that matter. As a MMA fighter I need to keep my body fat percentage down while keeping my muscle but most importantly staying around 185lbs so I don't die during weight cutts. Brittany has improved every aspect I need as a fighter inside and outside the gym. I never realized how much a science there is in fitness until I started training with her at Self Made. Self Made has top of the line equipment an amazing atmosphere of great people! It's is a Family I'm blessed to have the opportunity to train at and be apart of! When I first started with Brittany I was around 22-24% body fat and in so much need for conditioning and Muscle endurance! My first fight I was completely gased out by the first round that was before starting with Reign Athletics @SelfMadetrainingfacility within a month I had my second fight and I was day and night better!! It was crazy. I can't wait to get back in the ring with the confidence these great people have instilled in me! Thank you Brittany & Self Made!!
