FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Long story short... My dad is a teacher and in the summers he would paint to supplement his income. He would take me along on jobs ever since I could remember. By the time I was 12 I began helping. By the time I was 17 I was painting houses on my own. I went to school, earned a degree and a teaching credential and by the time I was seeking a job in education they were very hard to come by. At that time I decided to further develop and expand the business my father began over 25 years ago into a full time operation. With a solid referral base already in place and a focus on quality and excellence my business has not only survived, but flourished in these hard economic times.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Interior and exterior residential repaints. Within this scope of work we do a wide variety of job types. Sometimes it's high end job with almost no budget and sometimes it is a rental repaint that needs to be done quickly and economically. Whatever the case, we always have to adjust and keep everyone's individual needs to mind to make our customers happy.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Beware of bids that are way below the others. Usually these low bids come from people who are not true professionals and you are more likely to be unsatisfied with their work.
