- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a comprehensive package which families may begin as early as a student's sophomore year or as late as the summer before senior year. I also offer a senior rush package, a community college transfer package, an essay-only package, and an hourly rate. My prices are competitive within my field. I accept checks or credit cards, and offer flexible terms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a 30 minute free meet and greet and take it from there. I customize my services to fit my client's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Independent Educational Consultant certificate from UC Irvine, a degree in Psychology, and two teaching credentials: Single Subject English Secondary Grades 6-12 and Multiple Subjects K-12. As a member of IECA, I am required by their best practices and code of ethics to stay current on my training. I tour colleges regularly, attended a four-day training for independent college consultants given by IECA last summer, and keep up to date on the changing college admissions process.
