We had concrete work done. But also required demolition and dumping, labor prior to pouring. Overall, the end result was exactly what we pictured. It was done in a very timely manner and very efficiently done. Very meticulous with quality of work.
We had a whole lot of things that needed to be hauled away; construction demolition, accumulated trash, yard waste, and a whole room full of boxes. Chris and his assistant worked quickly and efficiently - taking 4 loads to the dump. They even did the demolition of large items. They also did a great yard cleanup for us, including tree trimming, and left the patio and driveway swept clean. Nice guys, great work at reasonable prices. We will be hiring them again in the future.
Chadd responded to our request for a bid within 30 minutes of our posting the request. He came out later that day to view the job site (the demolition of a large shed with a concrete slab floor) and give us an estimate. He gave us a fair price and started the job two days later. He has an excellent work ethic and finished the job on time. He delivered exactly what he said he would do for us, and he communicated with us every step of the way. I recommend Chadd highly, without reservations!
Jose and his crew are very professional and experienced. He was very responsive and receptive throughout the entire process. He even suggested custom features to improve the patio's appeal and followed through with them, at no additional cost. During demolition, it was discovered that a water pipe had a small leak, which he was able to repair quickly and maintain the original project timeline. I will definitely recommend Jose to friends.
Steve proved himself to be an excellent choice for me to have some home improvement work taken care. Within 10 minutes of placing my request on Thumb Tac, I had received a response from Steve with an estimate of how much it would cost to do the work site unseen. Within an hour he was onsite looking over the project; we were able to quickly negotiate a fair price to have the work done with Steve including the demolition and haul-away of a weathered wooden shed and the spa pump, heater, and other items stored within it. My primary request was to have a somewhat large, very weathered wood deck demoed and hauled away to a landfill/dump. Steve turned out to be an easy-going, personable, and exceptionally hard worker very knowledgeable in many areas of home improvement, construction and demolition. He carefully and expertly executed the demolition and haul away of the entire wood deck. – A lot of work. Steve worked his a$$ off to demo the deck and haul it away in an efficient, timely, and proper manner. As a result, I asked Steve to also provide a power wash to my house paying special attention to my very weathered front walkway pavers. Throughout the project Steve followed through on every promise and worked especially hard to bring out the best with the power washing of the pavers providing an exceptionally noticeable improvement after removing a lot of baked in dirt, grime, and fungus. There were a couple of times when Steve could not make it back to continue the work at the agreed upon time due to unexpected ‘life’ events, which I understand happens to all of us. However, even given a couple of unexpected hold-ups, he made it to the site every day, kept me in the loop with what was going on, and gave me a discount to compensate for the inconvenience and hold-up in getting to the site due to these interruptions. He went so far as to show up on a Sunday to coat and seal the newly power washed front walkway pavers. All-in-all, it was a great experience working with Steve. He was reliable, a hard worker, very proficient and knowledgeable, and very competitively priced. I look forward to having him back for other home improvements in the near future. Thanks for a great job, Steve! -Bob
I had a huge landscaping + irrigation project and from the moment I met him I knew Derron was the perfect fit. He offers competitive pricing and invests a ton of time to ensure that the job is done right. So far he's helped with demolition (dirt removal / tree removal), pulling up bricks and rocks, leveling, and we're in the beginning stages of installing the irrigation and executing on the rest of the landscaping design (weed barrier, dg, trees, bender board trim, and laying rock + stepping stones). He's brought over extra materials, assisted with dirt that was being removed and even took time out of his day to drive me over to home depot to select all the materials needed for our project. I feel extremely confident in his expertise and experience, and am excited to see everything come together. Will update with before/after photos shortly and will be recommending him without hesitation.
We have completed the planning and permit stages and are starting the demolition. The contractor at Apcotects has understood our design ideas and has incorporated them into his plan. We are anxious to see the finished addition.
Ive had Kevin with Hafner Tile out for three different tile jobs at my home: repair of existing kitchen floor tile, demolition and replacement of the master bathroom shower tile and installation of floor tile in two bathrooms. In all of these projects I selected Hafner Tile and found Kevin did an excellent job in each project. I found Kevin to be very detailed and attentive in his work. Our master shower installation was a great example of his work. The tile we picked out for the shower replacement is called sandy beach - it has multiple colors and different patterns within the tile set. It is a great tile but we were concerned about the installation since it would require an artistic flare in the tile arrangement to make the colors and patterns flow so that it looks like stone on a beach. In addition the tile was to be set diagonally making the tile arrangement challenging to fit the tiles so that the tiles match and traverse the corners of the two adjoining walls. Kevin did an excellent job in setting the tile and arranging the colors and patterns. During the beginning of the tile installation process in the shower, my wife decided that she would like to add two fixed corner shelves to be installed into the tile. Kevin willingly accommodated her request at a very modest add-on cost. He searched and found some travertine that matched the tile colors and shaped it into the desired shelf design. He installed these corner shelves he created into the tile walls as desired. The shower looks great and my wife was thrilled to have the additional shelves (and I was happy that Kevin so willingly accommodated her request at such a reasonable cost). I have also found Kevins expertise very helpful in discussing the approach to our tile remodel projects. I have presented various ideas for the project and found his suggestions and ideas on the approach to be very helpful. Kevin has helped shape our ideas and suggestions to make our remodel projects successful. On another positive note, I found Kevin to leave almost no construction mess behind. Ive hated to spend hours cleaning up from other construction projects I have had done around the house this has not been the case with Kevins work. Ive had minimal construction clean up to be done. He has also been on time with the start of the installation and completion of the project as scheduled. So in reading this review youre probably wondering where the down side is? Well, there is none in my opinion. I wanted a quality job, Im willing to pay for it and I received what I paid for. I would recommend Hafner Tile and will use Kevin again in future projects. I will say that I did get other quotes for the projects mentioned and I had lower quotes. Kevins quotes were reasonable (especially for the quality of work performed) but they were not the lowest. So if youre looking for a quality installation job, by an experienced professional installer then I believe that Hafner Tile is right for you.
Simply the Best! We setup several interviews with local contractors to replace our 1980s roof, that's when we met mike galante of Edison. His honesty, integrity and faith in his company struck us as so genuine that we didn't hesitate to cancel the other interviews and hire Edison. That turned out to be the best decision we made and the results are absolutely stunning They worked within our budget and went above and beyond, paying close attention to even the smallest details. Our project manager, Mike Galante, told us from the outset that "communication is key" and true to his word he was always available to us to answer any questions or concerns and addressed everything in a very timely manner. Of course there were a few minor issues that came up but there was no "defensive BS", if something needed to be changed Mike took care of it in a respectful and professional manner. All of the different work crews headed by Edison and Mika including the demolition crew, Hymen and his amazing roofing skills, They properly taped off the work area from the rest of the house and at the end of every work day each crew completely cleaned up and took away all debris so there was never any mess at our home. We really appreciated how extremely respectful all of the crews were to us and our home. The craftsmanship and quality of everything that was done is top notch (believe me when I say we are extremely picky and exacting) and we now have a beautiful roof that looks like it cost three times what what our budget was. The whole experience had very minimal stress and was actually quite pleasurable! We are looking forward to working with Edison for other projects in our home and can honestly highly recommend them! Great price, excellent job, and our home is now more energy efficient.

Im trying to work part time, so I do not need to be on SSDI (run over by supervisor working on gold line in 2001) or be an expert in trades. I can only work four to six hours per day due to severe on-the-job injury. I can run any equipment (no skid steer), from tower crane to pit shovel, excavator, shear, processor, hammer, thumb blade (24" down) haul truck (997), articulated push-pull (657 613) finish, dozers (12- 4) with slope boards (punch lots), water truck (10,000 gallon), and down sweeper. My MSHA instructors card is not valid. References are available (Dunn & Bradstreet) from my corporations if necessary. All certifications are out of date due on-the-job injury. Wages are 80% cost of the machine per hour. Bonding and insurance commensurate with the job cost. Thank you, and God bless! Mick
