Mike catered an event with 60 people expected at our home. Everything I requested food-wise was supplied, and the food was served within our requested time frame. The hamburgers/cheeseburgers and chicken were very good, with all the fresh fixin's, and the chocolate ice cream shakes were awesome. Mike's fryer for the fries was not working, but he was able to use our home oven. Would have loved to have tasted those fresh fried! Suggestions: chill the root beer prior to using for floats, and have enough floats and shakes for each person to have one of each treat. Mike was very easy to work with, and I would use Mike again.
I am so glad that I found Monica, she is one of the best event planner ever! She created a wonderful 21st birthday party for me! I will definitely recommend her to my friends and future events!

Marie was fantastic to work with! She goes above and beyond as a day-of coordinator to make sure that every detail is in place. She has great organizational and soft skills, which is important when working with family members and vendors. It's apparent she loves her job and genuinely cares about her client. I would absolutely recommend Marie to anyone On the day of our wedding, our Hawaiian Ice vendor wasn't serving the ice cream we had requested (and paid extra for). When I realized this, I was about to go over and talk to the vendor but before I could even step in that direction, Marie intercepted me and said, "Don't you worry about a thing. I'll handle this." A couple minutes later every guest who wanted ice cream had some :) Marie even met us the evening before the wedding to pick up decorations so we wouldn't have to worry about taking them over the day of the event! She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I'm so grateful to have found her. Our wedding wouldn't have been half as spectacular without her amazing support. Marie, thank you so much!! Laurie O.
Ramiro was excellent to work with! We rented tables, chairs, belly bars, dance floor, wine glasses, table cloths, etc. from him for our backyard wedding. He was extremely helpful and was great about showing all he different options. He seemed to have almost everything you needed for the event. Would definitely recommend him and use for future rentals!
This woman is amazing! My son got married recently. I knew the wedding would be beautiful because my daughter-in-law has wonderful taste, but at any event, there is always something that goes wrong. But I must admit, this Annemarie did such a wonderful job and literally nothing went wrong. Plus, she worked tirelessly and always had a smile. I give this woman five stars because she deserves it! Shannon was great! My company hired her for a community Halloween event for children and we were blown away by her talent. She was able to paint every kid's face that wanted a face painting and did an outstanding job! I have not seen better face painting.
Sam was our DJ for our wedding in August 2017. We'd gone through dozens of potential DJs until we got a hold of Sam. Right from the start, Sam focused on getting to know our background, personalities, and style first, in order to really understand how he could make our event the best event possible. When it came to the music and the party, we were very comfortable handing the emcee duties to Sam. Every detail was mapped out on paper well beforehand, including all the intro/outro, and first dance songs. On the wedding day, Sam arrived impeccably dressed, with plenty of time to set up. Our wedding went without a hitch, and Sam was a large part of that success keeping everyone hyped the whole night. With a firm grasp of our personalities and musical styles, he played a seamless mix of hits that had everyone on the dance floor. He even helped us throw light sticks into the crowd (see photo,) and jumped off the stage at one point to lead a dance. Nearly a year later, many people have told us that our wedding was the best they'd ever attended, and still rave about how much fun they had. They'll usually also have a memory of DJ Sam, that he looked like he was having just as much fun in the DJ booth as everyone else. If you're thinking about booking Sam for your event, DO IT! Thanks Sam!
Chef Marckende was amazing! He came up with an incredibly creative menu (all vegan/vegetarian) with dumplings, potstickers, ramen, and an amazing chocolate, strawberry, blueberry layer cake. He was very responsive in the planning process, even coordinating the on-site setup/visit the night before because we were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends at an AirBnb. Couldn't have imagined a better dining experience for celebrating a birthday with the group of 11. He was very professional, came with all of the necessary supplies, took care of service and clean-up. If you're looking to choose a chef for an event, you're missing out if you don't choose Chef Marckende. He'll create a memorable meal and take care of all the details so you don't have to even think about doing anything else other than enjoying a great meal with great company.

Glennie and her team was Everything I had hoped for and more! They were so helpful throughout the entire process, went above and beyond, and we’re so detail oriented and amazing. I really did not have to plan my wedding because they had it all planned for me. I just had a vision, I told him what I wanted, and they made it happen. I would highly recommend Glennie and her team To everyone I know. My wedding of 450 gas and having it on today’s was so fun and exciting. If I were to have it again in 10 years, I would definitely rebook with her.
Vanessa was an absolute pleasure to work with! I hired her to help me coordinator everything leading up to our wedding day. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and served as a wonderful second pair of eyes in reading over all the contracts from vendors! I couldn't believe how many details and questions there was but she was there to answer and ask all of them. It was really great that once the wedding date was approaching she started answering emails from my vendors because she already had the answers which saved us a great time of time! She really knew her way about event planning and it was so comfortable for me to talk to her about changes or thoughts and she is very flexible with direction if you change your mind. Vanessa responds when she sees your email and will let you know if she saw your email but didn't have time to answer. I loved how well she communicated with me. She texts right away and she is very thorough with her email responses. She is adaptable in learning how to efficiently use technology to her advantage. I opted to use GoogleDrive to share documents back and forth. Until she met me, she didn't know how to use and now she is an expert! I cannot imagine not having this wedding without all of Vanessa's hard work! She deserves all the credit.
My bestfriend lives in Texas and I live in LA and she needed me to help plan her wedding. When I brought in Alexis, everything went so much smoother and the stress was taken away from me! Well organized, sweet, ON TIME... so many great words come to mind to describe this service. She even brought complementary water to the outside wedding, it was great.
Our son's wedding was beautiful and stress free because of Michele at Nation Event Design. We had Portero Concierge handle our 50 wedding anniversary party. Everything went off without a hitch. The setting and the attention to detail was superb. Marni was as excited as we were about our party. We highly recommend Portero for all of your event needs big or small. Even day to day activities that you just don’t have time for.
