FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We take pride in knowing that our prices are reasonable and at the low end of the industry. We do this by maintaining low overhead and using state of the art equipment. We provide free pricing for your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a client contacts us 1. Understanding the client's needs for a survey is the first step. I like to speak with the client to understand his/her objectives. 2. Research the project and prepare a free proposal. The proposal will address costs, the scope of work, and work scheduling. 3. Proceed with field work and provide AutoCAD mapping. 4. Delive product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Professional Land Surveying License in 1990. I worked in the City of Escondido and in the City of Oceanside as a Survey/Engineering Plan Checker and Construction Manager from 1978 to 2003. In 2003 I founded Teas Land Surveying to provide survey services to San Diego County. My Grandfather started Teas Surveying and Engineering, Long Island in 1929. My father ran the company until 1970. My brother is a Licensed Surveyor in Ventura County. Surveying and Engineering is in the Teas blood. I am a member of the San Diego County Land Surveyor Association and the North County Engineer and Survey Association.
