- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We have a lot of different options to accommodate different pets' needs and customers' budgets. For the discounts we do offer, in general, they cannot be combined. And some services (i.e. bathing, pet taxi, and overnight in-home care) are not eligible for a discount. Pet Sitting: We have flat-rate pricing, based on the length of the visit(s) desired. We offer a discount to clients who book weekly service, seniors, military, teachers, and anyone who provides foster care for animals. Pet Boarding: We have flat-rate pricing for boarding, per 24-hour period, based on the type of pet boarded and their particular needs. We offer discounts for multiple dogs staying with us from the same household. We offer a discount to seniors, military, teachers, and anyone who provides foster care for animals. We offer long-term discounted rates if a pet needs to stay with us for 14 or more nights. Dog Daycare: We have flat-rate pricing for daycare, based on the dog's needs. We offer discounts for multiple dogs coming to daycare from the same household. We offer a discount to clients who book daycare with us on a weekly basis. We offer a discount to seniors, military, teachers, and anyone who provides foster care for animals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step 1: Discuss the client's needs and the dates they would like care. Step 2: Consult with the client in person in order to get introduced to the pets and their routine. We take detailed notes for all of the care instructions and preferences. Step 3: Set the client up with an account on our software system so they have 24/7 access to their care instructions. Through the client portal, they can see what services are scheduled and when, manage their invoices and payments, and make updates to their details at any time. Step 4: When services are in progress, clients can use the portal to see a GPS ping to verify that we were there, as well as a check in and check out time to see how long we were there for! Step 5: Once a service is complete, the client receives a feedback report, complete with current photos of their pets and notes on how the visit went.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every member of the Peticularly Perfect team must have basic experience and knowledge of animal care and is required to pass a pet-CPR certification course. Additionally, Peticularly Perfect's owner Allison has been training dogs for over 10 years. This gives her special insight into a dog's behavior and helps support both our sitters and our clients if a dog is acting nervous, shy, or acting abnormally.
