Introduction: I’m back!! Like most people, The pandemic has paused life a little while. I wasn’t shooting during the peak of pandemic, but I’m back now, and looking forward to creating memories for you and your loved ones! I think one reason my work stands out as different is because I try to focus on each individual and work with them. When my clients have a request for a certain shot, I'm always willing to work with them. Also I try to capture those candid moments when the subject doesn't think anyone is looking...Those are my favorites! Working with people and making them laugh! That's a big part of the reason I love photography...BUT when I'm sitting at home and looking thru the images and come across one that wows me, not because of my talents, but because of someones beauty, that's a bonus for me!

Julie was by far the best. I was coming from out of state (PA) to propose to my girlfriend in San Diego. I booked her about 2-3 months in advance and she answered all my questions. During the day of the shoot, she even went out of her way to buy champagne and flowers! She was super nice, knowledgeable, kind, professional and all around great. After I proposed, she stayed until the sun went down taking all types of pictures for us. She even got all our pictures to us in less than 3 days!! She was open to our ideas of photos as well. If I could give her 10 stars out of 5 I would. She made the whole experience fun and a day we won’t forget. Thank you Julie for everything!!

Julie was wonderful to work with! She was always very quick to respond to any questions we had and very flexible when it came to accommodating our busy schedule. She took beautiful photographs that she had fully proofed and sent us within a week. We also really appreciated her letting our dog Ember be part of the shoot. Ember can be a handful, but Julie was so kind and captured some beautiful moments with all of us. Having our dog part of the shoot made it extra special. We would recommend Julie to anyone!

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like most photographers I guess, its the love of photography. I used to take photos for everyone I knew and usually it was on a "donation" basis. But it was those friends who encouraged me to start charging and admit that I was a professional. Of course, that was years ago and have no trouble admitting it now! I AM a professional.
What types of customers have you worked with?
What I do most, and even best, because I love it so, is Weddings...I've shot over 150 weddings and have loved each one! Each one I shoot is a new experience for me! So yes, I'd say Weddings are my most common, and favorite!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My biggest piece of advice I like to give Brides and grooms is to find a photographer that makes you feel comfortable. If youre not comfortable with someone who's going to be with you ALL day, it will show in your photos.
