Sean translated my rough drawing into a finished work of art. He was punctual, price was extremely fair given the quality of work and I will absolutely hire him again, and again. It is so rare these days to find a true craftsman and professional.Sep 7, 2018Verified
Sean has done an excellent job re-creating my master bedroom vanity cabinets that had been demolished because of a water leak and mold damage. He was attentive to all my requirements, willing to use the salvaged front elements, and matched a missing piece perfectly. His price was in the middle of three quotes and was worth every penny. I recommend him wholeheartedly.Jul 7, 2017Verified
Excellent Quality. Cabinets were built to the style and quality that we wanted at a very reasonable price. Sean was a pleasure to work with and I will recommend him to family & friendsMay 9, 2017Verified
Shaun from Scandia Cabinets built me a custom window bench with four drawers and did an outstanding job! From start to finish he was exceptionally professional and detail oriented. I can't wait to have him do more projects in my house and I'm glad I found him on Thumbtack.Feb 27, 2017Verified
I hired Scandia to build our kitchen cabinets for a single family residence in Rancho Santa Fe and couldn't be happier with the outcome. As an architect, I provided Scandia the preliminary design/layout of the kitchen and his attention to detail is what brought it to another level. He asked the right questions, solved problems, and was an excellent communicator throughout. I would recommend him to family members - and I have! Go with Scandia!Mar 22, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Scandia Cabinets pricing is very fair consider the high quality and craftsmanship I put into my custom cabinets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like too meet with the customer so they can explain to me what they are looking for. Then we can talk about design ideas and different details of the cabinets. Then after that I can take my measurements and work out the cost for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started out with my woodworking career with trade school (cabinet maker). And after trade school, got a job in a cabinet shop as an apprentice. Did that for some time in a couple off different cabinet shops. And eventually opened up my own cabinet shop.
