For my wife's birthday, we rented a house and invited some friends to join us. Diane came to the house, on time, with a positive attitude and stayed all day, delivering 6 massages (!), with only short breaks in between. Everyone was happy and felt great after she'd done her magic.

I booked Diane for 3 massages at our vacation house for my fiancée's 40th birthday. Diane was so easy to book, very professional, flexible and quick to reply to several questions I had. Very enjoyable experience, great recommendations for some specific back pain I had, and she got ALL the knots out! We HIGHLY recommend booking Diane!

About this pro

My work is genuine; I follow the needs of my clients, educate them, and give them possibilities of how they can be in a better place in their body. I am a forever-learner and will always seek new ways to help my clients. My numerous experiences with trail running events at the finish-line, providing post-race sports massage from 100M to a 5K, and all over Northern California, makes me unique. And, on the other hand, I work in a spa environment as a Massage Therapist, providing Swedish, deep tissue, and Mu-Xing Therapy bamboo massage. I have the opportunity to help people be in a better place in their mind/body, get them out of pain, whether it’s a potential or post-injury, or just for general health maintenance. I cannot diagnose, but I can give you my opinion based on my experience and observation.

    Q & A

    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This year, I learned about Mu-Xing Therapy Bamboo Massage, and although I never thought I would use tools as part of my practice, I absolutely knew I wanted to learn this technique when I learned about it, as wooden tools bring a special energy and have been used for thousands of years all over the world in different cultures. Using heated bamboo and rosewood tools of various sizes and shapes, I can perform a deeper tissue massage and help clients with ischemic tissue, and provide this unique treatment to many health issues.
    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I entered a massage therapy program in 2001 just for fun and as an interest of mine, around health and the human body. Fast forward, after having several injuries myself and learning that our bodies can heal themselves if we allow them to, and taking the time to learn what it is to get our bodies back to homeostasis, we are truly benefiting our bodies, ourselves in the long run.
