- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to enhance my communication skills through continued education. I have completed resume writing and coaching classes through local resume resources. My experience writing resumes and engaging customers keeps me well informed of the current job market. I also subscribe to job market and economic periodicals that keep me informed on industry trends.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common work I've done is cleaning up resume's for the mid-level production employee. They are usually not challenged (bored) with their current career, and are looking to advance. They've been peddling the same tired resume for years, and typically don't see a lot of results when submitting it online. Sometimes, they've even finished school, and are looking to leverage their education to a management role. It's challenging to represent yourself properly, if you've never had the "experience" in a management capacity. Cleaning up resumes is most of the challenge. The other part is getting you to take a second, and review the past with a new set of lenses. We need WOW! You've likely already earned your WOW moment, and don't realize it.
