We have used Frank as a photographer on a number of projects over the past year to help document both research and consulting work at multiple locations around California from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara. The quality of his work and careful attention to the details we need to capture have been invaluable to our work that ranges from urban settings to mountain areas. I would recommend Frank without hesitation. His professional skill set has brought significant added value to our results and presentations/reports. He is able to quickly understand what our specific needs are and produces high quality images that help present our work in a way we were previously unable to.

Frank took our engagement photos and was fantastic to work with. We wanted outside photos and it was blistering hot, but he made the whole process so much fun! Both my fiancé and I loved the end result. Frank is a master with lighting and posing, and really captured our love for each other. Originally we were going to do two shoots but since we loved Frank’s photos so much we didn’t need another!

Molly, I'm glad to hear you didn't end up needing that second shoot. It was a wonderful shoot with you too. I wish you the best!

I had some photos taken by Frank to add to my modeling portfolio. Frank was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was patient with me, gave me great pointers and overall made the experience super fun. If you're looking for someone experienced and don't want to break the bank, Frank is your guy.
Weirich Imaging's reply
It's easy to produce exceptional photos when your subject knows what they're doing. Thanks for being so receptive, Bryan!

Mr. Weirich is simply AMAZING! He is really more then just a photographer. From the beginning through to the end he offered endless support, advice and guidence. When we received our first round of images through today I couldn't be more happier with the results. He is genuinely talented and loves what he does. If your considering using his services, DO IT!!! You won't be disappointed.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing includes a base rate for labor and travel time, as well as the cost of the images. Additional time and equipment requests are the biggest addition to the price. However, if you're looking for consistent photography work, I'd be happy to discuss a discount for that work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I hear from a new client, the first thing I like to do is have an in-depth dialogue about what their goals are. I like to know what the ideal finished product would look like to them, and how I can help provide that. The product I deliver should never just be "good enough", and as such, I prefer to work until the client receives the photos they want. This dialogue can continue even into shooting. I don't charge for time when it comes to discussion. If we're doing portrait work, a fair amount of paid time is setup. Being in front of a camera for long periods of time can be nerve-wracking for a lot of customers, so when we're actually shooting photos, I want to limit the amount of time you actually have the spend in front of the camera. The longer the setup, the faster the job.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    - BsJ in Journalism, BA in Art History from the University of Kansas - Ten years of practicing photography - Six years of editorial photography - five years of sports and feature photography - FAA part 107 UAS drone pilot's license
