John is one of the best dog trainers that I've met. I have a three year old recently adopted American Eskimo with issues such as leash pulling, nipping people who doesn't give him attention, and general insecurity issues. I have seen other dog trainers trying to get help, but without result. John took the time to get to know my dog and evaluate him based on what he saw and previous conversations with me. He helped me understand my dog and what I need to do to help him. Apparently, I have a dog that thinks he's an alpha and he taught me how to address this. I need more classes to address my dogs leash pulling and more, and I am glad that John didn't try to address all issues in one session because I don't think that would have been very helpful in the long run. Training a dog is not done in an hour, it takes more time than that. I highly recommend John.
Kym is a great dog trainer
Our trainer Denise has been such a great help with our crazy puppy. We hired her when the pup was 5 months old . We were in desperate need of training . Our pup was pottying in the house even though we had designated a spot for her to go. It was exhausting cleaning up after her all day. With Denise's help and expertise , our pup has learned were to go potty and we have learned as well the importance of consistency . It is evident that Denise is gifted as a dog trainer and our experience with her has been very professional . It is obvious she loves animals and there is a gentle way to train. Thanks Denise With love from Summer and the Courtney family:)
Ralf is a great trainer. Prior to his services, we tried a few dog trainers and we were not successful in modifying our dog's behavior in terms of potty training and walking on a leash. When we had our first visit, it was just an hour long and he went over the basics of crate training and how to change a dog's behavior. Initially, I iust wanted a few sessions however after meeting him and how he was towards our dog, I signed up for the whole training package. What's great about the package is he has a check off list (sit, come, stay, go to your place, etc) and he goes at your dog's learning pace; if it takes 2 weeks for your dog to learn come, then so be it. Also throughout (and even after) the training sessions, I would have lots of questions being a new dog owner. He would text or schedule a time for us to discuss the questions I had. The package also includes sessions about holistic approaches to dog health; very informative. Highly recommended.
It doesn't get any better than Cassidy's Care! I love my little Sweetpea so much, it's so important to find someone with a super big heart for animals. Well, Cassidy is so respectful to animals and others. I am so grateful to have had countless overnights and even a few times, Sweetpea has had to even stay days at a time. Cassidy has a clean, tidy and loving home which is Sweetpeas home away from home. The big bonus is Cassidy is a dog trainer too! Sweetpea continues to improve on all levels each and every time she's been in Cassidys care. On a personal note, I love Cassidy's sense of humor, oh goodness, I'm always smiling around Cassidy! That joy is also good for animals too :))) If youre looking for the very best, Cassidy is it!
Stephanie has been helping me train my Boxer, Leon, for about eight months. We have a way to go because Leon is still very young. Stephanie has shown me how to make Leon lie on his mat while we eat. Although Leon is crazy about food, he never begs at the table and often goes to sleep on his mat. Thanks to Stephanie, Leon walks by my side on a lease. His down/stay and come are also good. Without Stephanie I never would have had the confidence to take Leon to shopping malls or restaurants where he behaves very well. Stephanie is an exceptional dog trainer. I recommend her very highly. Sincerely Mary Anne De Briyn
Steve is an incredible, elite master trainer. He holds the key to unlocking all of your dogs' best attributes. He has done wonders for my dogs, and I have witnessed him doing even more for others. There's nothing that this man can't fix about your dog. But, you must be willing to put in the time and do what it takes to maintain. I have two mixed breeds (brother and sister) that have severe separation anxiety, when they weren't near each other. They were completely co dependent on each other, fearful and extremely sensitive to everything around them. They would whine and bark when separated. Steve had them for less than two weeks, and now they have no problem, at all being separated. He taught me how to build their confidence, and help them succeed. Which has made training them in obedience much easier. They now have the will to work, and the desire to learn more. As do I. He has inspired me so much that it has now become my passion, and I am now his apprentice. What I love most about the way that he trains, is that he is very gentle and patient with the dogs. He is by far more concerned with the dogs' well-being than anything else. He can be pretty tough on the owners, but once you come to realize why, you really can't be mad at him. The issues that your dog has, are typically there because of you. Your dog is a mirror of yourself. Once you've accepted that, you can then both change together, building the bond between you and your dog even stronger. But, you must be part of the change in order for it to work. Wendy is my senior master trainer, and I have learned so much already from both of them. They have taught me beginner and advanced obedience, behavior work, tracking, scent detection, how to show in AKC competitions, how to train movie dogs, and much more. Through the skills that I have acquired from them, I am now teaching my own classes and training dogs daily, using the same incredible methods that these amazing dog trainers have taught me. I highly recommend Steve and Wendy, and all of their trainers to anyone who truly cares for their dog.
Angellily was great to work with, she was punctual, professional and so very personable. I would certainly refer her to any one needing a dog trainer.
Tommy Stark is by far the best dog trainer I have ever known. He's extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. I have a large male Rottweiler who is an absolute joy to have in every and all situations due to Tommy's training. Anytime I've ever had a question about our dog Tommy is always there to help. I highly recommend Tommy Stark. He is the best of the best! Just ask Gronk.
Arturo was a fantastic trainer, my dog kona responded really well with him and was/is always excited to see him. I was amazed by how obedient she became and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs training.
My dog Bambina usually suffers from separation anxiety, and in the care of Miki with Pupparazzi Pet care, she was so happy and relaxed she never realized i was away. Miki has a way with dogs and really understands them. I highly recommend !!!
Ron is the best dog trainer ever! His love for dogs shows in his gentle, calm, and effective training techniques. He trains dog owners just as much as their dogs, and he has successful results. Under Ron's tutelage, my shelter pit bull blossomed from a fearful, anxiety-filled dog into a dog with confidence and self-esteem. She has really come a long way, in large part thanks to Ron and his teachings. Ron is also the least expensive dog trainer I have encountered. His rates are reasonable, for such high-quality training.
Dave is a dedicated, caring and knowledgeable dog trainer. We will use him!
We love Maureen! She is patient and answers any questions I have during the week! She makes a personalized training schedule based on your families needs. I love that she shows my kids how to work with our puppy as well! We are learning how to raise a well behaved puppy with Maureen's help! We are already getting compliments on how well our puppy listens to us! The difference between our untrained dog and our new puppy is night and day.
I had used a trainer with limited success and was frustrated by the experience. I was referred to Bark to Basics by a colleague who experienced great results by working with Melissa at Bark to Basics. We had the same great outcome. She worked with us to help us better understand our dogs responses to us. We tried Bark to Basics rewards based approach and it worked. We learned so much about dog behavior and responses from Melissa. We as pet parents, required more training than our dog! Melissa also is a pet sitter which helped reinforce our training while we were away.
Audrey scheduled us right away for a consultation to help with our food aggressive dog. Within one week using her training and tips any family member can pull our dogs food away with out getting biten or even a growl. Our German Shepard will now wait patiently in a calm "sit" position till we put his food back for him. Looking forward to more training!
Jennifer walks my dog three times a week and my dog loves her!
If you are looking for a reliable, professional dog trainer that gets you results, Ayumi is hands down the best in the business. Our little fur monster, Rollie, had social behavior issues when we first adopted him. After being recommended by a friend, we decided to put Rollie through Ayumi's program. I really wished I would've found Ayumi earlier. We discovered a whole new side of Rollie we had never seen before. The transformation is truly incredible. Thank you, Ayumi!
Bo went in pulling on the leash and crazy excited when he saw another dog. One hour later he walked out calmly and was completely unphased by other dogs he saw. I've got to keep it up, but Paul got me and Bo back on track!
Brian trained my dog Bella. I hired him for 3 training sessions and the amount he taught her in just three sessions was awesome. Probably more important than training her, he trained me how to work with her and re-enforce what he taught her. Bella really seemed to like Brian (possibly partly because he always has treats with him!) and she really positively responded to his instruction. He does seem to have an immediate connection to dogs. The training was very interactive and he made sure to address any problems I was having with Bella and offered very practical solutions. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for someone to train your dog.
