My fiance and I signed up for dance lessons with Erin and we couldn't be happier. I started out with zero background in dance and after only a couple lessons my fiance and I have our first dance choreographed. I'm actually excited to dance at my wedding which is saying a lot. Erin is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. I would highly recommend her!

Bertus was very quick to reply to our inquiry about dance lessons. We've only met once so far but I was very happy with our first session! He was very down to earth and really listened to the ideas we had for our wedding dance. I felt very comfortable with him right from the start! Highly recommend.

We took dance lessons from Alpa for our first dance at our wedding reception. She choreographed the whole thing and even asked us for our input and offered to let us change things based on comfort and preference. She did a great job though and me being the control freak that I am, I'm surprised that I didn't have a single change request! Let me stress that neither one of us are dancers and I was very worried about doing the dance in front of so many of our friends and family. But Alpa was so patient with us and made us feel so comfortable. We feel like we've known her for years yet we just met her a couple weeks ago! We learned the dance in two lessons and we will be back for our final lesson next week just to practice in front of her with my 25 lb lehenga and heels. If you need dance lessons of any kind, she is your girl! Thank you, Alpa! We are so thrilled that you will be a part of our big day in such a big way.

I had 4 Salsa lessons with Marge so far. This is not my first time dancing Salsa, which makes things progress quickly. She has a great way of explaining steps and rhythm, so that it is easy for me to follow and remember. Also, she is very friendly and goes the extra mile to help and advise me. I look forward to more lessons with her!

In short, Caroline is a fantastic teacher and you should absolutely take lessons from her if you're interested in learning Salsa. Caroline is warm, kind, patient, and understanding. I confessed immediately to her that I had "two left feet" and no prior dance experience. This was no obstacle to her. Our lesson included a lot of rhythm work. Though it was my first lesson, I'm already feeling more confident. To top things off, she gave me "homework" to ensure I could continue teaching myself some muscle memory. It is very clear she is very gifted as both a dancer and a teacher!

"First Dance" lessons with choreography assistance less than 2 weeks out from our wedding. We started out with 2 and extended it to 3 lessons. Joseph was really helpful instructing the two of us that have no background in dancing. In 1 hour we had the basis for a first dance at our wedding. In 2 hours he got us better at that and added flourishes. In 3 hours he worked on the entire production. He knows what he's doing and has fun doing it.

Walter is a wonderful dance instructor. When I started learning dance, I was a complete novice. Walter structured my lessons in a sequential fashion that gradually built my skills to what some label "silver" level enjoyment. I especially like the way Walter took MY goals into consideration. I did not wish to compete, but to become a better than average dancer, focused mostly on smooth dance and some light rhythm, so that I might enjoy social dance opportunities. My weekly dance lessons have become the highlight of my week! 💃

I've been taking private lessons in ballet and jazz from Zaire for about four months now, and I can confidently say that this was the best decision that I made this year! My only previous dance experience was five years ago, a beginner's class that my high school offered for physical education. Early this year, I decided that I wanted to try out for the dance team at my college, hoping I could train hard enough to prepare for auditions in September. Zaire has been the perfect dance teacher to help me work toward this goal. Every lesson, she pushes me more to perfect my technique, build up my stamina, and to really perform each movement. She works me VERY hard, but I've gotten in so much better shape and can see and feel improvement in every aspect of my dancing. Zaire instructs with the perfect balance of being tough with high expectations while keeping things fun and creating an environment in which working hard doesn't feel like work at all. She is a beautiful person who truly cares about her students! I am so blessed to have her as a dance teacher, and I recommend her to absolutely anyone who wants to experience the joy in dancing!

Desiree was such a pleasure to work with! We found Desiree on Yelp after finding out the person we originally wanted to commit to was no longer available and it honestly could not have worked out for the better! Desiree choreographed our waltz + hip-hop dance (~3.5 mins) over the course of 6 45-minute lessons (1 of those lessons was an evaluation for her to test our ability to handle certain difficulty levels and direction). DESIREE THE INSTRUCTOR: She was extremely patient and flexible with our schedules and not once pushed for any extra lessons we didn't need. Her technique made it really easy for us to grasp certain movements that we found difficult to learn. It made us feel good that she took the time to repeat anything we weren't sure of. After we had gotten the steps down, she made sure we took time to focus on hand movements/gestures and facial expressions (another really important part of any dance performance). DESIREE + YOU: It's important to note that learning a dance is a two-way street: you need to put in the time to practice and memorize your choreography, too. Your money and Desiree's time will go to waste if you don't commit to practicing. Desiree got us to feel comfortable in breaking out of our boxes to do something challenging and fun for our wedding -- it was worth every penny invested in these lessons. My husband and I got to bond over trying something new and we enjoyed every moment of it. I hope we never forget the choreography! We will be sending anyone interested in dance lessons her way.
