Without a doubt the best full body massage I've ever had. If you want a great massage at best value and beyond expectation quality, call Jennifer Yau. She's sweet. professional and she also gave me great maintenance tips and suggestions. I will defiantly become a regular.
I saw Dessi after a week working on a film in San Fran that took a toll on my back. I'm a believer in massage therapy and have had some great massage work done. Her approach was the most unique and intuitive I've experienced and the best results I've ever had from a massage. Easily the best massage therapist I've been to. I can't wait to get back to San Fran for another appointment with her.
I was impressed with Sam. She was informed and thorough checking in with me before the massage, and the massage itself was exactly what I needed. My calves and shoulders especially feel lighter, and overall I feel less tense. I don't see a single reason to look elsewhere for my next massage. Thanks Sam!
I am so glad I went here instead of none of those massage chains. Lots of personal time well spent with Suzy. I suffered a stroke 15 years ago and my hand has been curled up. After just a few visits I am able to open my hand. I recommend massage therapy to any one with medical issues that PT has not helped.
Lawrence was exceedingly professional and knowledgeable. Just a fantastic full body massage, both therapeutic and relaxing. There's a lot of power packed in those hands that Lawrence easily modulates up or down. He checked on pressure a few times, but had an intuitive sense for what I needed. Last but not least he's very friendly and I felt safe and at ease the entire time. I recommend him 100%!
After neglecting a long time issue with periformis syndrome that physical therapy failed to help, I started seeing Rob for bodywork. Since my initial booking with Rob and one follow up, I've seen huge improvements in my pain level and mobility. His method is very technical but also intuitive and holistic which is exactly what I wanted in a massage therapist. He's not only helped me with his massage, but he's also pointed me in the right direction for other kinds of helpful exercises and stretches off of the table. I've also learned a lot about how my body moves which aids my healing. Rob is a very kind and patient person and seeing him makes me instantly more relaxed. In the future if anyone I know complains of pain, I will always recommend Rob. I'm very happy I found him:)
It was a last minute job and thank goodness she responded. 3 clients back to back and she was great across the board. Plus my husband is a rock and needs strong hands. Amazing therapy massage. She knows what she is doing, equivalent to going to a medical spa massage. Strong knowledge, better than if I went in to a spa. Bring the spa to you! Plus her prices is hard to beat, so so reasonable.
I received a great in-home sports massage from Liam. He tailored it to specific pain/problem areas I wanted help with (hip/IT band, neck) while also covering the basics of a full-body massage. I highly recommend him!
Xavier is one of the most hardworking and dedicated trainers I know. I needed help with my Army Physical Fitness Test training, particularly with my two-mile because I had a huge mental block and never broke that barrier or dropped my time no matter what I did. I found out that Xavier had done extensive research prior, and there were many days we went over one hour but he did not charge extra. He is someone I would describe as not after your money but truly cares about helping you reach your goals, no matter the cost and extra burden on him. The special thing about Xavier is really what you are getting in his packages-- it's not just physical training, but a package that addresses all three things: physical, emotional, and mental. With my mental block, he took me to speak to his wife, who was professionally certified. All at no extra cost to me-- it was all on his dime. Why? Because like I said, he cares about the person and his/her goal rather than just making money. When I was injured or on the brink of getting injured, he was able to help me with physical therapy as well (he's a massage therapist) so I didn't even have to go to a doctor for that. (He really knows what he's doing with physical therapy and massage; I actually feel that it's his specialty). It obviously worked because I was somehow able to avoid all those close calls, recover from a strained shoulder and strained hip, and prevent further injury ALL while intensely training at the same time nonstop for the twenty days I had left. We definitely went over just one hour everyday but Xavier never said anything. I know what I was able to achieve earlier, and I had reached my wits' end with making any improvement. Today, saying I reached my goal is an understatement. I completely smashed my goal and broke a mental and physical barrier forever along the way-- by almost 2 minutes. Something I couldn't break by even a minute for NINETEEN years by myself. But only twenty days with Xavier and suddenly I broke it by not just one but TWO minutes in an already short two-mile run? AND somehow got over my greatest fear at the same time? That's what I call a miracle. Got above and beyond for everything else. At times I know I gave Xavier a hard time because sometimes I wouldn't listen to him or argued with him about what was right. But it doesn't matter who was right or wrong at that time because all that matters to me is the end result-- and I succeeded. Thank you Xavier!
I booked a private massage session with Dan after I met him at our office Health Day. He is well worth it. Good, firm, intuitive hands. I work out at the gym regularly so I get sore. Add in the office and keyboard stress and its time for a massage. He is one of the better massage therapists I've experienced, and I've had my share. Well priced and high quality.
Working with Jessa has been a great experience. I have seen her about 5 or 6 times now, and her massage therapy has been very helpful for my backpain. I am impressed with her techniques and her ability to target specific treatment modalities. She pays attention to my specific needs, tailoring her technique accordingly. She also spends time before sessions with diagnosis (i.e. stretching to see where my muscle limitations are) and then using that info to customize the massage. Also, she is friendly and sweet to deal with. Definitely recommend!
Gary was amazing! Very in-tuned and able to find & work all the knots throughout my body. The entire massage felt like one continuous motion! Highly recommend
Nathaniel is a great massage therapist that not only knows massage but multiple modalities of bodywork. He performed deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofacial release on my body. After one session my body immedietly had more Range Of Motion. As a personal trainer for fitness 19 i even started referring my clients to Nathaniel for their bodywork. Most massage therapists are either too soft or aggresive but Nathaniel knows the sweet spot for each individual. If your looking for a good massage therapist Nathaniel is your guy.- Raymond Sunga
Dale Fanning is a wonderful acupuncturist. He achieves comprehensive, lasting healing by blending his skill in acupuncture with a high level of intuition, patience and empathy. He imbues the Chinese Medicine view of whole body health with these attributes and the results are nothing short of fantastic. I went to Dale with a constellation of symptoms including chronic illness, musculoskeletal issues thru years of wear and tear on the body, as well as basic urban stress and insomnia. At my initial intake, and now updated at my weekly visit, Dale tales the time to get a thorough view of my health history and current state. His treatments consistently reset the dials, improve my condition and leave me feeling centered and full of life force! The sessions themselves are deeply restful; most of the time I fall into a deep sleep as the parasympathetic nervous system is allowed to kick in. This carries over into the evenings where I always sleep best on treatment days. Overall my conditions have improved substantially. As many people do, I regularly receive chiropractic treatment, massage, physical therapy for specific muscles/joints and have a great family doctor. Of all the things I do, the treatments with Dale are the deepest are always the most effective across the board. This is due to the very nature of Acupuncture, which is it treats the source and the symptom. Over the last 15 years I've received treatment from some of the most well-known and highly respected acupuncturists in the Bay Area and the west coast. I took a lot of care and time to write this review as I would never suggest a practitioner to someone lightly. I recommend Dale without hesitation. His treatments are on par with best in field, and in his own style, he surpasses my previous experiences. I understand he is working in the fertility field and have heard nothing but accolades from his patients I meet in the waiting room. He seems to have a capabilities across a wide range of issues. I say he gets extra points as he has gone to lengths to be able to accept multiple insurance plans to make it possible for the largest number of people to be treated. 5 stars for Dr Dale for sure.
So far we have met 3 times. 2 on exercise training, 1 for a massage. And, he is right on cue! I pat myself on the back to have made the right choice (for my first time ever) to have a personal trainer. I won't add any photos (yet) but, in a couple of months, (I'm sure) I'll be able to share the "before" and "after"...photos.
I've been to see Alex two times now, and plan on scheduling future visits. Extremely thorough and customized approach to body work. She has helped me identify problem areas and develop a routine of self massage and therapy to address them.
Gotten a few massages before from spas and never have I felt so comfortable in a 1 on 1 environment. I have a lot of knee issues and lower body soreness from workouts, Ben was able to relieve me of troublesome knots that has been bothering me for a while. Didn’t think I’d be as comfortable with a male massage therapist, but he definitely made sure my comfort and needs were listened to and fulfilled. I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone that needs a good massage.
Best masseuse ever! The chair massage is a great bargain in a pinch but the 1 hour full body massage is the ultimate essential. I type and wear high heels most days of the week and Le Mon was able to locate and target the muscles most effected by these activities! He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable of muscle groups. Perfect pressure deep tissue massage, a rare find!
I’ve had quite a few massages from Kerri. I’m kind of a massage junkie and she is great! I always feel so relaxed and much looser after. She’s quite skilled with cranial sacral work so I often leave her place with that woozy warm post massage feeling.
I was diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome about three years ago. I've been living with chronic pain and stiffness all throughout my body for the past five and a half years. I tried everything...from chiropractic to taking a lot of ibuprofen to getting multiple massages a month. I saw a back and neck pain specialist (who diagnosed me with myofascial pain syndrome) but he wasn't able to do much for me. I've had painful lidocaine injections, experienced many sleepless and/or very painful nights, and have gone through two rounds of physical therapy. And nothing helped. I found Judith by doing a search online for relief for myofascial pain syndrome. I was very hopeful after reading many reviews on the benefits of myofascial release. I looked into the John Barnes method and decided this was something I needed to pursue. And I'm so glad I did! I have seen a TON of improvement from my treatments. This is the only thing that I've tried that has caused improvement in my body. Everything else I've tried didn't work and I felt myself getting worse and worse as time went on. So to have a treatment that is causing improvement that I can feel and that people can visibly see...it's amazing. I have no words for how it makes me feel to know that my body can be better than it has been. I still have a ways to go, as my body was severely stiff, but to know that this is working and to feel so much better every day is incredible. Judith is incredibly professional and I trust her implicitly. She always makes me feel comfortable and I have experienced so much physical as well as emotional release while in her care. I highly recommend Judith and myofascial release for anyone experiencing chronic pain and/or stiffness in their body!
I have gone to Chiayueh for a variety of ailments over the years - from anxiety to running injuries - and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an extremely talented Reiki master and massage therapist who has devoted her life to making people feel better. Chiayueh combines her background in Eastern holistic healing with training in Western massage therapy to form a practice that centers around long-lasting treatment of the body and mind. Most importantly, she truly cares about each of her patients and pours her heart and soul into her work. Make an appointment with her - you won't be sorry!
